Dr. Sonal Ravichandran, MD

I have been going to Dr. Ravichandran for quite some time now. She listens carefully and reviews my chart thoroughly. When I have had to leave a message (non emergency) on the Portal, She and her team are quick to respond. She's a smart and very capable Doctor. She knows the importance of recommending any tests when necessary. I look forward to our visits because I know that I'm getting the best care.. I also appreciate the kind professional office staff.

Dr. Sonal Ravichandran has been our family physician for quite some time. Although it is a 40 mile drive and there are plenty of physicians closer to home we wouldn’t think of going anywhere else her professionalism and vast knowledge in the field of medicine surpasses many of the people we are in contact with when they speak about their Dr. The staff is very helpful and we would recommend Dr. Sonal to others without hesitation

She is a wonderful doctor my husband and I have been going to her for many years as well as my children treats us like her own family I love her staff they know us and treat us very well also if you want a good family doctor she’s the one even if you have a little complaint she checks it out thoroughly to make sure there isn’t something more wrong I know a lot of customers from work that love her too

Unfortunately the staff in this office is what makes it a bad experience. Their attitude is horrible and have a hard time being honest. The last 3 visits have been very trying dealing with them. Refuse to deal with them any longer!

Everyone there was kind quick in responding to messages. The doctor was very thorough and took her time with us so we did not feel rushed. I’m new to the area and I’m glad that I chose her for my doctor.

I'm new to the area and starting with a new doctor is never fun. There was a lot of information to cover but as she reviewed my record as a new patient, but I didn't feel invisible like I've felt with some other doctors. I was pleased to get a number of referrals out of the way and have my prescriptions renewed. I like that I can see test results online and communicate online as well.

This doctor has worked with my parents and I for several years, even before Westfield medical relocated to Riverview. She is consistent with providing thorough and exceptional work when it comes to addressing our health needs and concerns. She is polite and very knowledgeable about what her career entails. I enjoy having her as my provider and would recommend her to other people as well.

Dr. Ravichandran immediately took charge of my issues; I felt relief and so secure knowing that she is going to be monitoring my medical situation now. I have not felt relaxed about my general care in quite some time.

This was my first meeting with the doctor. She was way behind in her schedule. She rushed in, barely said hello. Went to computer to look me up. Not much dialogue. I felt like I was just a number. She barely even looked at me. This does not instill confidence. I asked about an issue, and got very nonchalant answers. If next visit is not better, I will need to find someone else. Everyone has a bad day, so I will give her the benefit of the doubt.

Dr. Ravichandran is very knowledgeable and thorough. She is pleasant and takes time with patients. She and her staff respond quickly to questions, requests, and prescription needs sent through the MY Chart portal. The staff at Westfield Medical have all been friendly and helpful.

They listen to your concerns, go over your chart and document your symptoms, and Dr. Ravichandran is very observant and really puts in the effort to find the root cause of your symptoms when feeling unwell. I am very grateful I was referred here. The entire staff is so friendly!!!

Dr. Ravichandran provides a very comprehensive, thorough and professional level of primary care in a very personable and caring manner. She utilizes referrals to specialists very effectively and communication with her and her staff between in-person visits is amazingly easy. So grateful to be her patient!

My visit with the Doctor today was awful. I was kept waiting a total of two hours. She when she finally came in the room she asked if it was alright is a student nurse observed. Little did I know she was going to leave the room and leave me with the nurse. The student proceeded to asked me questions, went over my medicine list for a second time, as the first nurse also went over it. She was in the at least 15 minutes. I told I had a couple things to discuss with the doctor. She leaves and finally Dr. Ravichandran comes back in room. Sits in front of computer reads and types. Does not look at me. She goes over my medicine a third time!! Gets up listens to my heart, does not give me a chance to talk to her says she will send nurse in with a flu shot and blood work paperwork and leaves. Now I sit for 10 more minutes. No one comes in . So I left. I figured I was not a priority to any of them. Terrible way to treat a heart patient.

Dr. Ravichandran is so good to work with. She is professional and patient with my 90 year old father. He does not complain about going to see her, as opposed to previous doctors. I would recommend her to anyone.

In these days and times, if you find a good doctor, you better keep them. I've moved about an hour away but nonetheless, I'll keep coming back to Dr. Ravichandran. She's one of the few left that will look out for and advocate for you amongst your other doctors. You actually get doctored and not pilled up as most do these days. Time is taken to ask the right questions as what one needs if you have multiple conditions. It's been a few years now and I will be back, or able because of her to be back years to come!

No long wait times, all her staff is great. Best Doc I’ve ever had, and I’m 71 so I’ve had a few!

Dr. Ravichandran has been my doctor for what I think is at least 20 years. During this time she has always been professional, caring, and willing to listen. She may not agree with what you may not want to do but she has never made me feel like I have made the wrong decision. I’m not the type of person that calls for an appointment for everything under the sun but I know that there are times that I should have. There have been times she has made room to see me on very short notice. Had staff has always been very professional. I recommend her as a Primary Care Doctor very highly.

I have rarely had any problems with Dr. Ravichandran (if any at all). I admire her manner and she's straightforward with me when needed. I recommend her for anyone looking for a good family doctor.

Dr. Ravichandran is very pleasant, listens and pays attention to detail. Very knowledgeable and explains everything clearly. She took great care of me and my elderly Dad. Her staff were very quick in scheduling additional tests and specialist visits.

Dr. Ravichandran has been my primary care physician since my move to Indiana 3 years ago. She takes the time to talk to you about your health concerns, provides a complete physical exam and a full explanation of medications. The office staff is professional and extremely efficient.
