Wonderful practice
Finally! I can’t say enough positive things about how well the psychiatrist, counselor, and all team members work together to provide high quality care to all their patients.Finding the right fit for you and your needs isn’t easy. After several years of bouncing around different counselors and psychiatrists I’ve found where I belong! Being a patient for over 3 years I HIGHLY recommend seeking mental health services here.

Compassionate Psychiatrist
Dr. Aeschlimann has been my Psychiatrist for 8 years. I find her to be a great Physician. She has helped me work through major trauma, anxiety and CPTSD.I am very comfortable talking with her, Tammy and the nice staff there. It is a safe environment for exploring and working towards a solution with your mental health issues. I find it very reassuring that Dr. A has a lot of experience and is also interested in your overall health and well being. She has been available to me after hours, and she also offers suggestions on alternative treatments. We also treat my ADHD.I feel very blessed to have such a smart and caring Psychiatrist!

Dr. A is Unprofessional
Telehealth
Dr. A is unprofessional. She filled out disability paperwork saying that a family member was ready to go back to work when he was still struggling intensely with PTSD, depression, suicidal ideations and anxiety. She did not tell him she submitted the paperwork. He found out when the disability insurance called and told him that they would be ending his disability. We were still dealing with the aftermath of our son's liver transplant and he had not had time to work through any of the trauma yet as we were still living it at the time she submitted the paperwork. The best we can figure is that she was getting audited and threw him under the bus to help out her numbers. But, her actions have deeply impacted our entire family.

First psychiatrist who really helped!
Dr Aeschlimann is absolutely one of the best in her field! She is a great knowledgable specialist with a lot of experience. I appreciate that she really listens, is very empathetic and respectful. Her office always functions efficiently, nothing is left delayed or forgotten. I was so grateful she was able to help me right away with my medications even between the appointments, and the most importantly, I finally have the correct diagnosis and feel better than I have in 40 years.

No
Dr. A is extremely unprofessional. She dismissed me as a patient and sent the letter to the wrong address. The letter was opened and I went a month without knowing of my dismissal. She also did not write me scripts for my medications after my dismissal knowing I am bipolar 2. As long as I was a patient (6 years), a phone call or in-person meeting would’ve been the correct way to go about the dismissal so I had a chance to explain myself. She purposely omitted certain things from my drug test, but was quick to dismiss me because of something that showed on the test… without having a conversation with me.

It has been a great experience with Dr A
I have been with Dr A for 5 years. She has been wonderful as she provides a truly listening ear. She forms a partnership with you to find solutions. She clearly cares about her patients and is kind and patient. However she is cautious about making medication changes too fast. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a psychiatrist.

Thank God for Dr. A!
After a long recovery time from OCD, and then a terrible setback, I searched for a doctor. I read her reviews and prayed she would be the one to help me. After my greeting from her with a beautiful smile and sweet disposition, I immediately relaxed . She truly listened to me and was able to slowly change my medicine while adding a new one. She cared about what I had to say about the medicines as well. I felt involved in the process and definitely heard. She is very knowledgeable, understanding, and kind. I was not rushed and she reassured me that I would start to feel better. That gave me hope after months of no hope ! I have gotten better and I can communicate with her when I feel something is off. I feel safe and taken care of with Dr. A! She is truly a wonderful doctor .

Wonderful Dr if you are bipolar
Initial rapport was wonderful. It took her only a few minutes to diagnose me as bipolar. Unfortunately the many drugs she prescribed did not have a good effect and I questioned her diagnosis since, at 56, no doctor had ever suggested this diagnosis. Sadly, the drugs she prescribed brought me to a serious crises point and we agreed to part ways since we could not agree on either the diagnosis or the drug therapy with which to treat it. Her main strengths are her engaging personality and quickness to return any message. It was clear to me, though, that I could receive better treatment elsewhere for what I would deem a generalized anxiety disorder .

Saved my life!!
I feel like Dr. A has literally saved my life and for the first time in decades I feel like myself!! I no longer ruminate on every conversation and facial expression during conversations ... my mind is clear and I feel happy for the first time in a LONG time!! Dr A was the only one who could figure out the perfect medicine combination for me.I am 55 and have been to numerous doctors who have all given me antidepressants.... and anxiety medication.... and medication for OCD ...NEVER have I EVER seen a physician who took the time to identify what was causing the chemical imbalance that had me feeling like I was chasing my tail trying to just be happy ... all things in my life ARE happy... I have no reason to be depressed - and couldn't understand ... Dr A is so knowledgeable and I would recommend her to anyone needing help with OCD, anxiety, CPTSD and mood disorder!! She LISTENS, truly listens and that is RARE! If I could give 10 stars ... I would.

Awful office staff
When I arrived, the windows to the receptionists are closed, with signs that say do not tap or knock on the windows, along with signs saying please use soft voices, sessions in progress. So, I tried to be mindful and sit. The lady behind the window called me, got my id/card for copies, and gave me forms. A man came in and spoke with them, and then after he left she called me up and asked me if I wanted the office policies or shred them. I said shred them and went back to sit down. She called my name and said “I’m not done, you have to stay up here.” It was a little forceful so I asked if I had done something to offend her; I couldn’t think of anything because literally we’d had so little interaction. I was trying to be polite by not hovering over their “don’t knock or tap” signs by sitting quietly. She said, again forcefully, “no, but you have to stay up here I’m not done” and then rolled her eyes at me. Mind you, this is a PSYCHIATRIST’S office.

Dr. Sofia is the best medical doctor I've ever had! She is SO caring and listens with her heart to everything I have to say. And she doesn't think I'm weird in any of the problems or issues I have. She just accepts me for who I am. She never puts me on a medication I'm not comfortable with. I'm so grateful she's a part of my life! I would recommend her to anyone who suffers from past and present trauma! She's got a heart of gold!
