He saved my life
I presented to Gulf Coast on a Saturday night with a perforated diverticulitis. Dr Raman showed up at 1100 pm and started me on ABX right away , it was his anniversary and his wife waited for him in the parking lot. I was hospitalized for 3 weeks , and his care and moral support was exceptional during my 3 weeks hospitalizations. He is the best .

Dr. Raman saw me in the hospital after I had a surgery go wrong where they punctured my bowels and sewed me up. I had a lot of bacterial infections due to that and he and his wife did an excellent job taking care of me and getting me on the right antibiotic as I can not take penicillin. They have great attitudes as well! Saved my life!

WHAT A HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT.. Rude staff, incompetent and very uneducated people answering phones and taking payments. I AM LITERALLY PAYING THE SAME BILL FOR THE THIRD TIME TEN MONTHS AFTER MY SERVICES. Ridiculous over billing, double billing, and continual billing for services from over ten months ago.. Ten months later, and I am still getting billed, inaccurately, to say the least. I paid in cash with receipt weekly for my insurance co-pays, yet none of them are registering on each current.

I would never suggest this practice to anyone, As a ID Dr. I was amazed at their unsanitary practices. No masks or gloves worn. My skin was touched with an ungloved hand, not sure if hand was even washed. Took picture of said body part and then recommended a 10 day course of antibiotics that I did not even need. The cost would have been close to 3,000. I did not have a good feeling as soon as I walked into the office. I was the only patient there. The infusion chairs had not been cleaned.

A friend went to this doctor for PrEP to prevent HIV. This doctor scolded my friend and said he would not prescribe because it promotes "promiscuity ". This doctor is a disgrace and should be required to take remedial education in his field of practice.

He is discriminatory and refuses to protect patients with WHO/CDC approved and recommended treatments based on personal views. He associates the desire for prevention with promiscuity/recklessness, going against the regulatory agencies and even contemporary scientific consensus. He discriminates and make choices based in personal beliefs rather than science. He should not be allowed to practice.

Without a doubt, the best care I have received to date for my infection. Finally I have hope after being sick for 9 months. The girls that do my infusions, Cindy and Chris are caring, professional, and follow cleanliness and safety protocols better than any other medical setting I've ever been in. And everybody is so genuinely nice!
