Dr. Siva Kumar, MD

Dr. Kumar is a GREAT Doctor. He SAVED my life. I was dying and it's by the GRACE of God I was sent to Dr. Kumar. His LIFE SAVING SKILLS and VAST KNOWLEDGE has provided me with a chance to live longer. I am so VERY THANKFUL and I will SHOUT IT FROM THE MOUNTAIN TOP. I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL

Dr. Kumar saw my husband in advanced heart failure, failing day by day. Other doctors gave us no hope. Dr. Kumar admitted him to Tampa General, and within 3 days, new life saving procedures were in place. Professional, supportive and beyond kind best describe Dr. Kumar.

Dr. Siva Kumar is the best, period. I was basically given the last rights by my previous cardiologist and Dr. Kumar saved my life. I am so grateful to him for his patience, kindness and knowledge that I would have no difficulty recommending him to anyone. As a matter of fact, I am trying to get an appointment for my wife. His office is very busy and sometimes it may take a while to get in but believe me it's well worth the wait, if any. I would like to add that the entire office staff is fantastic. Kelly, Debra, Greg, Ollie and others in the practice are very professional and will make you feel like part of the family.

Extremely knowledgeable as well as receptive of and responsive to questions. I feel that I am with the right doctor for my condition and that I am receiving accurate assessments and appropriate treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Kumar.

Worst doctor ever. He rejected my husband as an LVAD candidate and essentially left him to die. We found a much more competent doctor in Chicago, and my husband got a BiVAD and lived 3 more years with an excellent quality of life. Thank God we did NOT listen to this idiot and put him in hospice!

I am also a physician who have transitioned to become a patient. It is rare to fully trust your care to someone when your clinical profile is bleak. As a physician my belief besides "best current clinical practice" is our profession was meant to serve...,educate besides just medicate, and hopefully prevent complications so the quality of our patients lives are enriched. It's Gods hands who truly heal. This doctor is truly one of the inspirational instruments FOR his patients.

Met Dr. Kumar for the first time and felt like I have known him for years--gentle, thorough, efficient and very professional. You could feel his concern and empathic approach to what I was saying. Very attentive and personable. He immediately established rapport with me and gave me the confidence that he would provide the best care and treatment for me--he outlined a non-evasive and sensible treatment plan which I am following closely . Very positive and thoughtful.Spent a good amount with me.
