Excellent surgeon with great patient rapport.

I had a fall while visiting family in WA state and ended up fracturing my ankle. Received excellent care from Overlake Hospital and attending trauma surgeon Dr. Silas Marshall. Everything was explained prior and after procedures performed and had minimal pain after surgery. Six weeks later no pain and am looking forward to continuing PT therapy when I get back to my home state. I felt very comfortable with attending Dr. He knew what he was doing and had 100percent confidence in his skills & abilities as Dr& to get me back on the road to recovery from my accident. Highly recommend Overlake Hospital and Dr. Silas Marshall as a orthopedic surgeon.

July '22, traumatic injury, broke both bones (tibia and fibula) in my left leg. Fibula broke by my ankle, tibia higher up by my knee. I knew Proliance Issaquah was the best since I've been there before for a minor hand injury. By luck, Dr. Marshall was my assigned doctor. He was straight up, direct and clear in his communications. I was worried my life would be forever altered with my physical activities limited, including impacting the activities I love. Surgery was a success, albeit extensive (rod + plate + 7 screws). I followed his instructions to the letter and made rehab + daily pool visits my 2nd job. By Dec '22, I was snowboarding again. It's been 1.5 years since the surgery, I can report zero pain, zero limitations. My ankle gets a bit stiff if I don't do yoga, but I now have very healthy work out routines as a result. I feel I'm wiser and actually better than before the accident. Thank you, Dr. Marshall, for everything you did for me, I'm forever grateful.

I recently had shoulder surgery, at Overlake Hospital. Dr Marshall at Proliance Issaquah performed surgery to repair a broken humerus, a tendon, and a tear in my rotator cuff. The surgery was quite complex and I am so impressed with his skill. He explained the bone repair process clearly and the consequential healing, PT, etc. I would not hesitate in recommending him!

Excellent in all ways

Dr Marshall already protected my wife’s choice to continue to run with a unique femoral head repair. He listened to my issue with two sore knees. He drew me out with descriptions of I how I can get the help I need. Since he doesn’t specialize in knees he identified another Proliance surgeon who does. He confided this is the person he would choose for his knees. He expedited my appointment to get things done and helped me feel comfortable with the choice I am making.

Dr. Marshall is an effective communicator and great surgeon.

Informational, however need another procedure.

Needed an MRI read and he very quickly determined what I needed to hear. I was disappointed in my results, but ultimately he gave me information that was very important to learn. I was quite upset, but he was very kind and understanding. He wants to continue to follow up with my care to ensure that I am healing properly and can get back to my normal physical activity. After months of misdiagnoses and various points of advice, he finally had the answers and a treatment plan.

Dr. Marshall is very patient and always explain things clearly to me. Before the surgery, he explained all the details and made me feel comfortable with the surgery. After the surgery, he also provided a lot of help during my recovery. It's always a great experience for every appointment!

Dr.Marshall was a fantastic surgeon for a quite complex surgery. The follow-up appointments were also great. I very highly recommend him for any leg or foot issues.

Dr. Marshall treated my dad for a broken shoulder. He had taken the time to contact my brother who is also a physician to discuss my dad's case. My brother left the conversation feeling that our dad was in great hands. During our first visit, Dr. Marshall was out of the office that day, but had his PA text message him a copy of the x-ray. Even though he was not in the office, he was still very involved in my dad's care. During our follow-up visit with Dr. Marshall, he was very friendly, competent and knowledgeable about my dad's case. He provided his recommendations for my dad's care that we thought were in-line for given his age and condition. I'm very satisfied with Dr. Marshall overseeing my dad's recovery.
