Dr. Sigalit Hoffman, MD

Dr Hoffman is loyal and compassionate, and I have been working with her for several years or more. You can tell she cares, and she makes time when you really need it. She doesn’t beat around the bush, but she’s dedicated to helping her patients. She will work with you as if you are a team, and respects that you have a say in your care.

In each of my all too brief interactions with the psychiatrist, I have voiced concerned about my care and did not feel heard. I faced challenges such as extended periods without medication due to difficulty in communication. Attempts to reach her through phone or email were unproductive, leading me to seek emergency scripts from my primary care doctor and hospital visits. Moreover, the absence of credit card acceptance and no payment portal adds inconvenience. One situation resulted in a critical incident where I required immediate medical attention at the ER due to the unavailability of necessary medications and monitoring. I have been working with folks to report the negligent care and have sought care elsewhere to stabilize after she pushed 17 additional pills to me, racking up unnecessary medical expenses and harmful medication interactions.

Dr. Hoffman has been my therapist for 8 years. She is very knowledgeable and caring. You can count on her when things get rough.
