Poor bedside manner
At the first visit with my 4yr-old son, Dr. Bhatt was very rushed and robotic in her interactions with us. She rarely ever addressed him directly and only made a half-hearted effort to build a report with him. Most of the time she was exclusively talking to me while my son felt isolated. She moved at a rapid pace and hasty to leave as soon as the exam was over. I had to insist on follow-up questions and even then it felt rushed. The nurses were rough on my son and he left the pediatrician's office in tears, without much words of encouragement afterwards from either them or Dr. Bhatt, much less a sticker or something to make the experience less daunting for a toddler. Dr. Bhatt claims on her profile to focus on mental health, but my son's emotional wellbeing was mostly ignored in my opinion. Dr. Bhatt did cover all the required topics and performed all necessary tests, but the experience was unpleasant and I would not recommend her to others, especially if you have little children.

We’ve been patients of Dr. Bhatt for four years now and can’t sing her praises highly enough. She is a caring, gracious, and patient provider who takes the time to truly listen and also explain things to our children so they can also understand.

We have recently relocated to Maryland and are so blessed to find Dr. Bhatt with Johns Hopkins Group as my children’s new pediatrician. On our initial visit, Dr. Bhatt has spent nearly an hour with each of my children to learn more about their background & medical history as her new patients. Dr. Bhatt is very heart-warming person and she is thorough, professional and knowledgeable of what she has practiced in her profession. She also has excellent bedside manners and we highly recommend her.
