Dr. Sholeh Rahimi, MD

Try to get a referral or an authorization…it’s grueling. The staff is kind on the phone but that’s where it ends. As for Dr. Rahimi, she’s great. She deserves better staff.

Dr. Rahimi seems fine, but the staff is incompetent bordering on negligent. I’ve been waiting on a referral for over a month for a serious health concern. Keep having to call them and explain it all over again. I’ll be looking for another PCP after this.

Provider is good but the staff is the worst. Rude front desk person and never returns call. Dr. Rahimi never replies to any messages. Hard to get any issues fixed.

I am extremely disappointed with the little care I received from Dr. Rahimi. Despite having a persistent cough, the prescribed medication did not help. I tried reaching out to her multiple times via email and phone, but never received a response. After three weeks, the front desk contacted me to schedule a follow-up appointment and asked for a $15 copay. This is unacceptable given that the initial problem was never resolved. When I refused to pay, I was told I needed to come in person and pay again. It feels like the focus is more on money than on patient health. Other than this, previously a telephone appointment was scheduled for 5 PM, but she called me at 5:55 PM, right before an important call I had at 6 PM. This caused me additional stress and left us with only 5 minutes to discuss my concerns. She also forgot to ask where my pharmacy was and called me again during my meeting. This is just not acceptable. I also requested a referral to an allergist and a nutritionist in January, but as of May 28, 2024, it still has not been processed. This delay is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the efficiency and responsiveness of the clinic. This experience has been frustrating and has caused me unnecessary stress.

Dr. Rahimi may be the best physician in the world but her staff is the worst. Sometimes they are there, sometimes they are not. Sometimes the referrals get done, sometimes they do not. Or, a referral to a Dr. not even associated with referral. You can't get an appointment if no one answers the phone as the emails do not get answered. I have switched PHP as I cannot deal with the staff.

No follow up; no response to result; don’t care patients health

I went on Medicare in December and saw Dr. Rahimi for the first time at the end of February. It is now the middle of July and I AM STILL WAITING FOR A REFERRAL TO SEE AN ORTHOPEDIC SPECIALIST AND GET MRI. This office is quite incompetent. I have had numerous conversations with various people in her office, including Dr Rahimi, and I am still waiting for them to get their act together and submit the correct forms. Needless to say, I will be looking for another, competent, primary care doctor. The worst is Britain. I feel like I'm talking to a wall.

At 78 years young I have seen several doctors. I think very highly of dr. Rahimi, she is very professional, good listener, and very caring. I highly recommend her.

Absolute worst experience I have ever had with a doctor's office never. No communication follow up, takes days to get a call returned and then the person cannot help. Tried for 4 months to have a major diagnostic service scheduled and it never happened. Took forever to get Rx filled with lots of messed up attempts. Finally switch doctors and love my new doctor's office and doctor.

Dr. Rahimi is an extremely intelligent, up to date internest and pulmonologist. I have been impressed with her knowledge. She takes her time and is very thorough in her care. I have recommended her to my friends.

I called Dr. Rahimi’s office Her staff was nice and friendly; it was very easy to schedule an appointment.  With no wait time, I was able to see Her.  She was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and friendly.  She listened to all my concerns, patiently looked at my heath record online, and spent about 45 minutes with me, while also requesting  complete blood and urine tests. I highly recommend Her. She exhibits the very best qualities that all doctors in medical environments should aspire to possess.

The absolute worst experience I've ever had! I went in to discuss a consult for adult ADHD and she told me I should take walks, drink more h20, and lose weight. Fyi I am an active 30 yr old who does not like taking meds if I can help it; I work out 3-4 times a week, eat well and weight around 160 lbs at 5'5". I waited almost an hour before being summed to her closet and I noticed no one leaving her during my entire wait. She was very dismissive to my needs and was condescending in general.

I recently picked Dr. Rahimi as I wanted a Sutter affiliated doctor in Folsom who took medicare and supplementary insurance. I was impressed with Dr. Rahimi's educational resume and her experience so I made an appointment. She was thorough and knowledgeable and I felt she really knew my medical issues by the time I left her office. I am very pleased with her professional demeanor and genuine interest in me as a patient. My husband has started with her too and feels the same way.

I am new with Dr. Rahimi and find her very well informed, knowledgeable and listens. Really great and refreshing. She also is with Sutter Medical Foundation. I highly recommend her.
