Dr. Shobha Sikka, MD

I believe Dr. Sikka is very smart, but an area to grow in is customer experience. I believe, even in the pandemic, she is overbooked and therefore rushes through the few minutes she sees you. I’ve left disappointed and without clarity several times but because she is an expert in complex issues I’ve continued to see her. Just be prepared for this. I’ve found the PAs and other office staff to be delightful.

This is probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a practice. The office is incredibly disorganized and this affected my medical treatment. I was forced to cancel a procedure after calling the office over ten times in the course of a week. These calls were to schedule a pre procedure test and ask a few questions. The office had told me that they were going to send my pre procedure test to a Lab Corp, but they never did. This forced me to cancel my procedure. The doctor herself is ok, but seems a bit distracted during appointments. There were times where I felt she didn't pay attention to my concerns.

Dr. Sikka was highly recommended by my regular GYN and despite having seen her to obtain a 2nd opinion and her knowing that I was only there for a 2nd opinion, I was very pleased with the level of care I received from the nurse and Dr.Sikka. She was very thorough, kind, and has a great bedside manner. She explains everything in detail and the level of care she provides is top notch. It was because of her demeanor and thoroughness that I chose her. My recovery has been amazing!
