Poor listening skills, horrible,don't go here
My adult daughter went to see Dr. Matthews and told her she had been having stomach problems for quite some time. She advised Dr. Matthews that she would get extremely ill, vomit, chills in the morning and would be unable to eat at times resulting in extreme weight loss. The doctor treated her like she was crazy and wrote in her medical chart that my daughter had an eating disorder. Well, my daughter went for an endoscopy and colonoscopy. Turns out that she has a stomach infection that if left untreated would turn into Cancer.Please believe your children and fight to get them the treatment they need!! But NOT HERE or with this DOCTOR!!

Dr. Mathews has always been thorough and a pleasure to deal with. She takes the time to get to know you and never rushes the appointment.

Waste of money
Doesn’t listen Not empathetic It’s about getting you in her office (or virtual) to bill you when some things can be resolved over the phone, without an office visit

Dr. Shirley Mathews is one of the most knowledgeable and professional doctors that I have ever visited. She diagnosed my problem and followed thru in a timely manner. Being sick is no fun, but having a doctor that is knowledgeable and obviously cares about your well being makes the experience bearable.
