Disapointed afer 13 years
She missed a problem that I was having occasionally for 3 years, that I told her about, and never followed up on. While participating in a Health study the need for a Pacemaker was evident. Last week while suffering pain in abdomen. When for help, she ignored that 5 months previous I was found too have Gall Bladder disease and did not give me pain meds. 12 hours later I was in the ER and had surgery the next day.

Wonderful Doctor and Staff!
Dr. Khosla has been my 81 year old mother's physician for the past 5 years. She is personable, attentive and really listens to needs for mom's overall health, and guidance to our family as caregivers. Recently my mom had a very scary hospital event. Reaching out to Dr. Khosla, she remained in contact during the recovery time - making adjustments with medication and advising us on which direction we needed to go in to insure mom's health, comfort and recovery. The staff assisting Dr. Khosla has always been pleasant, helpful and friendly. We have never had to wait long to be seen, and have always felt that we were given plenty of time during the appointment. We as a family highly recommend Dr. Khosla and her staff! This includes mom - and she's a hard one to please!

A Thorough GP
My visit was promptly attended to. Dr. Khosla was thorough, friendly and answered my questions. She takes the time to examine all aspects of a condition.

Called to get a prescription refilled, Dr. Khosla would not refill unless I also agreed to make an appointment for a physical. Made a telehealth appointment per the front desk’s orders. Dr. Khosla spent 2 minutes on the call (I have a record of it in my phone) repeating over and over that physicals cannot be performed via telehealth and to reschedule. Right before we ended the call she asked how I was sleeping and I just replied fine without elaborating. Dr. Khosla then coded this as a visit and billed me, despite telling me she could not do the visit over and over. She never returned my calls and messages to try to clear up what I thought was an error and misunderstanding. I find Dr. Khosla’s behavior to be apathetic, uncaring, money-hungry, despicable and beyond disappointing.

The 1 st visit I didn t I would go back then I thought I try again, she was much better, had smile on face and friendly but still slow in explaining things ...today I trust her and I think she is pretty good at what she does...would suggest she learn to open up and explain things in detail.....

Awful!! Do not recommend. She is very unfriendly, has trouble listening, she does not like to be kept long if you have multiple issues.. She interrupts and speaks with disrespect, especially if you aren’t answering her with quick yes or no answers. I think she is in the wrong field. I was very disappointed when I left. She did the bare minimum and I now I have to go see a real doctor.

I've been a patient of Dr. Khosla for 4 years and she has provided me with excellent care and guidance with my health issues. She has a friendly, no-nonsense personality so for some, she may seem blunt or not very personable, but she is a knowledgeable, caring physician.

I have seen Dr. Khosla three times, most recently needing help determining the cause for an large increase in my bad cholesterol (over 60 points) over a short time (8 months) which alarmed one of my other doctors. I explained my diet and exercise and how nothing had changed. She continued to read a script about food to avoid – mostly meat and dairy – I’m vegetarian and have been for months. I was able to get her to run the blood work my other doctors recommended. Her aid called me to let me know the results seemed fine (not a quantitative discussion) and that I need to stop eating sweets and exercise more. My concern is cholesterol and she continued to avoid addressing the issue and other symptoms I have been experiencing. Unacceptable.

Came in as new patient, stated I had two issues with my back, one in lower and numbness around my shoulder blade. Was asked briskly about my lower back, then when I went to describe my shoulder I was told she’s not dealing with that today. Thought it was a joke til she left the room. First and last time.

Dr. Khosla doesn't take the time needed to understand a patients needs. I recently had surgery after being in the hospital. She refused to send my records to the surgeon stating she doesn't think I need it... well,,I did! I had blood clots she chose to ignore. Recently she called me with results of a test, told me things were fine! Yep, wrong again. Plus there was dried up blood on the floor at my last visit and I was her 1st patient of the day!

I am a senior citizen whose primary care physician retired and I searched for an internist to take his place. I selected Dr. Shilpi Khosla. Dr. Khosla is a well-trained internist whose stated goal is to treat every patient with dignity and provide the best of care. She is thorough and asked follow-up questions to better understand my health issues. She referred me to specialists to better treat these issues and followed up to ensure that progress is made. I highly recommend Dr. Khosla.
