Everyone was so nice and patient, excellent and efficient care

Dr. Shida Saam has been the PCP for many of my family members for many years. have been she treats us with courtesy, expertise and kindness. She is very professional and care for her patients.

Recently, my experience with Dr. Shida Saam's services was significantly less than satisfactory. There appeared to be a shortfall in medical expertise, which led to an incorrect diagnosis. Moreover, there was a notable lack of professionalism; Dr. Saam continued to stand by this misdiagnosis even after I provided evidence and sought an explanation for the decision-making process. My efforts to obtain clarification and documentation were met with responses that were both unsatisfactory and delayed. Additionally, there was a complete lack of communication, as my messages and emails went unanswered.This experience has been both disappointing and problematic, leading to inaccuracies in my medical records. The apparent reluctance to address and resolve my concerns professionally has been unsettling. In the realm of healthcare, it is imperative for service providers to be both reliable and responsive, and unfortunately, my experience fell short of these expectations.I share this feedback

Staff PA is underprepared to review test results and did not review patients file ahead of time. Front desk is rude and does not listen to patients problem. Front desks appears understaffed, on the edge with no patience.

I have new insurance and had to change my primary and chose Dr. Saam. I am so happy with her. She is so caring. She actually takes the time to listen. I am so happy that I found her. Great caring doctor!

Dr. Sam is a breath of fresh air. She really cares about me as a person. She has gone out of her way to hear and help me. I have home health care now, that she had set up for me. Her staff is very gracious as well.

Dr. Saam is a great doctor. She is pleasant, kind, and takes the time to discuss any concerns. I appreciate her professionalism and her positive demeanor.

Liz in Dr. Saam's office was very unpleasant and interrupted when I was trying to explain an issue. Dr. Saam has been great for many years, but very much didn't appreciate the short attitude I received from her staff today.

Dr. Shida Saam has been our family PCP for many years. Since we have been her patients, she has always tried to treat us with courtesy, expertise and kindness. She has a very professional community of physicians for referrals to help patients to access to the best evaluation and treatment. We are so proud and happy to have her as our PCP. We are so blessed to have her in our community.

It seems she likes to collect paychecks but doesn't like to work. I went in 2019. She has her assistant do everything and since that person doesn't have an MD had actually provided me hazardous false information regarding my blood test.

Unfortunately I’m going to switch to another doctor just because of the poor customer service and rudeness at the front desk . My son has Covid they never sent the Z pack after I called and changed the pharmacy. I Went and called the pharmacy many times no medication was sent. Two days later I called them, the lady at the front said “ yes I’m going to fax it now “ No apology and when I asked her to confirm the pharmacy. She still had the old pharmacy, so carless and when I asked to make sure that the medication was sent, she said “ maam I told you that I’m sending it right now you can call the pharmacy and check” So rude so why it wasn’t sent on time!! We all do mistakes but why no apology and consideration especially when people are sick??

I am suffering from a terminal illness with many complications. I have overall 30 specialists with over 100 medications. I google search the best primary care doctor in Orange County and Dr. Saam had the most 5 stars rating. I need a very strong educated and experience Hoag doctor so I decided to choose her as my new primary care. Last week was my first experience going to Dr. Saam's office. I felt very welcome right from the beginning. The nurse assistant and all staff members were very friendly and pretty. I met Dr. Saam exiting her office because she had to visit a dying patient from covid in the ER. Already I had a good impression of her knowing she is such a caring doctor towards her patient. She went over and introduced herself with a smile and shook my hand. She told me she will take care of me and her Physician Assistant will examine me for that day and order some lab work. Dr. Saam is very friendly, intuitive, & concerned about the individual & getting the right treatment. Her office staff are efficient & friendly. Office space is modern & had no wait times. Felt very comfortable w/Dr. Saam & so lucky to have found her!

IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE A ZERO. SHE AS A PHYSICIAN AND HER EMPLOYEE TEAM ARE THE WORST I HAVE EVER MET. Honestly, I am not a person who would usually write a complaint but I must help everyone else who is trying to get a true review of this physician. As an Iranian person, I was looking for a bilingual physician and I finally came upon Dr.Saam (however I see now that she doesn't even care about her Iranian compatriot and does not take care of her responsibilities professionally). I tried booking an appointment but they said they DO NOT accept our insurance and we had to go through an ENTIRE process to change the insurance to a one that they would accept. After changing our insurance, we requested to see Dr.Saam herself at the appointment we made because we needed a doctor's help, however, her assistant showed up instead. After that appointment 9 months ago, we tried to make an appointment with the ACTUAL doctor but they said only emergencies. We said OK once again and made an appointm

What would you do if you found yourself needing to see your primary care physician, and they refused to see you? That is the predicament I found myself in two days ago. Dr. Saam approved me as a new patient, and was assigned as my primary care physician a few months ago. When I got sick and needed an appointment I was then denied care. I was told by the not so lovely receptionist Stephanie that they would not see any new patients they’d never seen from my insurance company even though they’d already approved me. I told them because they were assigned as my pcp I couldn’t go anywhere else. I was told too bad and to go to the ER if I needed medical help. I filed a complaint with my insurance company and was told this is serious breech of contract on their part. I am in the process of being assigned to a new doctor but that takes time, so even though it isn’t a medical emergency I will need to go to the ER or urgent care if I want treatment. This place is the rudest, shadiest place EVER.

worst staff, doctor gave the wrong prescripton, the pharmacist rejected the order. Staff also communicate the incorrect body part for radiology test. got incorrect referrals to specialists. MOST HORRIBLE medical practice.

Easy going, Down to Earth Will return to her care

Incredibly kind and knowledgable doctor. Dr. Saam spends a huge amount of time with her patients and gets to know your on a deeply personal level. She was recommended to me by a friend who has been going to her for over 13 years along with the entirety of her family. Thank you for everything Dr. Saam!
