DR. SHERLEY ARAMATH, MD - DISCRIMINATION!!!!!!!!!!
Unacceptable THIS DOCTOR, SHERLEY ARAMATH, MD REFUSED SERVICE TO ME, ALONG WITH BEING GRILLED & AN ATTEMPT TO BELITTLE ME BY HER NURSE OR ASSOCIATE, SHE DID NOT DISCLOSER HER NAME. I have diabetes. So now i have to wait another several weeks to get my blood sugar levels checked. This could impact my health in multiple ways, AS I EXPRESSED TO THE STAFF, I HAVE BEEN OUT OF ONE OF MY MEDICATIONS AND MY SUGAR LEVELS MAY BE HIGH. Dr. Sherley Aramath, MD. needs to remember why she is a doctor, and its to help people. Unfortunately and sadly she has forgotten this. I believe at this point, it is about her image(the facility looks run down and would have never been my choice, it was my first time seeing this facility and was not impressed when driving up) SHE AND SOME OF HER STAFF seems to be DISCRIMINATING AGAINST AFRICAN AMERICANS. I DON'T NORMALLY FILE A COMPLAINT OR POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO THIS STATURE, HOWEVER IT IS NECESSARY TO PROTECT THE NEXT PERSON.

Poorly Managed Office; No Empathy
I have been a patient of this practice for about 20 years; Dr. Aramath became my physician when my previous doctor retired. After I complained to her at my latest visit about the length of time I was having to spend waiting to see her at each appointment, and about the duplication of paperwork (fill out online, then fill out again when I arrive), she terminated me as a patient. Before I even received that notification, I was shut out of the online patient portal. This termination came while I was in the midst of finding specialists to help treat a serious ongoing health concern.

Don't Use Arlington Family Practice
I put up with her because it's painful to find a good PCP. But then I got a very rude letter effectively firing me after 20+ years of this clinic as a patient because I forgot to drop off a urine sample. I received a nasty letter telling me "failed" to follow their recommendation for treatment and I was accused of "patient non-compliance" and basically told I had 30 days to request any med refills before I was considered persona non grata. LOL. All of this during the Covid pandemic when everyone was trying to just get through the day. My original doctor, Sharon Dennis, DO retired. Dr. Rice retired too. Another good one. The ones left at this practice are awful. Do yourself a favor and spend the painful time looking for a new PCP. Don't go here.

I had a kidney transplant 24 years ago. With that, I continue to have many ailments associated with the anti-rejection medicines that I must take. So I have too much experience with Doctors. I've had Doctors I really like, but their office staff sucked. And the other way around. Since I have been going to see her, I won't go anywhere else. If she refers me to another Doctor, (I'm on an HMO), her staff follows up to be sure I connected with the other Doctor. I take 13 different meds daily...so often with other Doctors, getting the refills called in on time is a headache. She handles these personally, often the same day. I could not be more happy with her and the office. They are wonderful and always on top of everything.

It has always been a pleasant experience with Dr.Aramath and her staff. They treat me like family, and exceptional care by Dr. Aramath. My requests always get taken care if I’m a very timely manner. I get a call back from my doctor which i don’t see from other doctors/ practices these days. Very happy and I will continue to have her as my doctor.

I had the same impression of this Dr and her staff, would not reccomend. Her staff is incompetant and charges high risk office visits for a cold. Code 99215 is for high importance office visits, not for a cold. The office smells old and moldy and the Dr leaves voice messages that are spoken way to fast to understand. This is horrible place to go!!!!!

I have been seeing Doctor Aramath, and even though she was never really nice to me, I made her my PCP because I was honestly tired of looking for a doctor. So she continued my care from a previous doctor, but then she all of a sudden decided not to see me anymore because I requested the medication be refilled (as to her instructions). I was treated with immense disrespect, which is strange because I went in with such a positive expectation because of all the reviews. If you do not mind being jud

I'm a new patient of Dr. Aramath by referral and she is knowledgeable, listened to my concerns and informed me of the follow up process. The issue I would like to address is the office. PLEASE someone remodel this office. It's drabby, furniture is old, offices brown and tan, bathroom is joined to a patient room. Patient healthcare is #1 concern but it needs to be appealing to those who visit. A little paint and office furniture can go a long way.

I wish I could share some of the other patients enthusiasm about this person! Maybe she was having a bad day? My pcp retired and I went to her because she was in the same office. My appointment was to establish a new patient/ physician relationship. I will be seeking care elsewhere. I need a more personable doctor.

The office staff was awful. I found the billing coordinator to be questionable in her ethics. On my last visit to this office, I did not see the doctor on a visit as she was not in the office and I was not notified prior to my appointment. When I chose to leave without rescheduling (I had no desire to continue at the practice) was told that I still needed to pay a co-pay for the visit. The staff became defensive when I asked exactly what I would be billed for since I had not seen the doctor.
