Cleft palate scope
I was recommended to Dr Tatum by another physician to assess my swallowing due to issues that occurred in my adolescence. I am 82 years old and have many ailments related to my hearing and swallowing. Dr Tatum made decisions regarding my plan of care based on a chart review before evaluating me. He then performed his evaluation and spoke only to the other provider in the room, relaying medical terms I did not understand without addressing me. He then abruptly left the room without explaining his findings to me in layman’s terms or his recommendations for intervention. I left feeling confused and I felt that I was not a priority patient in his clinic. The only positive experience I experienced was with the speech language pathologist jill G who gave me strategies for swallowing. Im not sure I would recommend this doctor unfortunately
