Dr Yao is awful. During the visit he was not paying attention to me but was distracted with what his secretary was doing. So he left the room's door half opened so he could hear better! A few minutes after, a laboratory rep came into the room to talk to him about a new medication they have! I was feeling so sick that I did not have the strength to tell her to get out of the visit room. Everything was just so wrong! He asked for lab tests, which took me forever to get the results.

I went to this doctor with a bronchial problem and he prescribed me montelukast which is a medication more commonly used for treating asthma -- note I do NOT have asthma. He also never gave me a copy of the written prescription so that I could ask questions about the medication (which has not done anything for my condition). That should say it all right there.

Dr. Yao cares more about seeing more patients for making more money. He is always rushing, keeping answering cell phone calls in the middle of seeing a patient. Irresponsible, didn’t give patient a phone call with positive lab results. Not so knowledgeable. Wasted my money with wrong lab orders for me.
