Discussed removing ovaries and tubes. I Did in fact have surgery. And was told both had been removed, However as of 2023 via CT I still have left ovary.....

I brought up some concerns at my pre-natal appnt. She raised her voice (yelled) and made me feel like an ignorant stupid mom. She was unwilling to hear me out, very cold, with an intense personality. This is not the person I would want delivering my baby. At all. Ever.

I am usually very nervous when I go to the doctors, but it was not that bad this time. She took her time and explained everything very well (which is not easy because I am a talker when I am nervous). She listened to what I was saying and took my concerns seriously. This is the first time I have went to a doctor for my issues and actually get what I needed. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and will definitely be returning for any other gynecological issues. Thank you.

Taking time to listen and understand me and what was going on with me and my concerns is and will always be appreciated more than words can say. That doesn't happen a lot in the health care field. The support staff is very friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Garrett is easy to talk to, engaging, and does thorough exams. I have been coming to Carteret OBGYN for about three years and even though it's definitely not my favorite exam to have annually, having such a wonderful staff makes it easier.

I had a lot going on with my health this past year and had never really had any issues before that, so I had not established care with a doctor. I was referred to Dr. Garrett and she has been incredible in my care and treatment. I don't plan on going to anyone else if I can avoid it. She is very straight forward and honest and tells you what you need to hear and the best approach to find a solution. I would recommend her to anyone!

She was cold, robotic, and uncaring. Dr. Garrett is not someone I would want delivering my child nor assisting with my pregnancy.
