Typical, poorly run medical assembly line
Waiting 30 minutes beyond my appointment time on my first appointment with no explanation or apology is insulting. It implies a lack of caring for patients. Unfortunately, this office is run like a typical modern doctor's office. They line patients up and crank as many through their system as they can. It seems the name of the game is, 'what can we get insurance companies to pay for?'. Not, what is the best care we can provide for patients. Too many doctor's offices are run this way now. I will never try to see him again.

First he walked into exam room an hour and 15 min after my scheduled appt He never looked at me I spoke to his backHe insisted I was there for reasons I never complained aboutBottom line when I told him why I was there he told me he didn’t treat that condition even though this was a follow up visit where we had discussed why I was seeing himI had discussed my condition at the initial visit which should have been the time he told me he didn’t treat my condition He was also sent a referral outlining why I was recommended to himExtremely disappointed and insulted by his rudenessLeft the office by my own choice never being treated or explained why he had ordered a sonogramNot returning!

Well,his receptionist is very rude and nasty, so I gave up on making an appointment. I was his patient years ago and wanted Dr. Pike for testicular surgery but I guess I will move on.

I visited Dr. Sheldon Pike at 70-90 Austin St. 2nd FL, Forest Hills and paid the copay they asked and I left. After 2 weeks I got a letter stating "First Collection Attempt Letter" A collection letter for a payment past due which I wasn't even aware of to being with. I was shocked to see how careless these so called professionals are. Once they have your credentials they will open accounts on your behalf with any anywhere and you will only know about it when you get a collection letter from them
