Dr. Sheldon Buzney, MD

Very frustrating! After waiting over 2 hours, which seems to be the norm, my eyes were no longer dialated and he put drops in my eyes three more times. Unfortunately, whatever he used for eye drops, no other eye doc has ever used and I had a very painful allergic reaction to them. I have called the office twice to report the problem and find out what it was so I could make sure they are not used again but no response. Further disappointing was that he is a good talker, a fast talker, and not a good listener. He didn’t seem to hear what I was describing as my issues, resulting in an exam that was a hide waste of time and money. The good news is that he doesn’t seem to be quick to do surgery, thank goodness!

I have been going to Dr Buzney for many many years. he is an excellent retina specialist . he is top notch Yes you do have to wait almost 2 hrs for every appointment, To me Its WORTh it. As much as I value my time. Its nice to know he is very very thorough and explains everything to me. he is a great doctor so pack a snack,, sit read do whatever. I would TRUST every second waiting for his valued expertize!!

I don't know maybe he's a good doctor or even a great one, but have patients waiting to see the doctor for over 2 to 3 hours is unexceptable. And the staff, including the doctor didn't even think to apologize. It is now 3:40 pm and it's 3 hours past my appointment, but sill haven't seen the doc yet. So if u value your time STAY AWAY from here, I will.

Looks like he's running a money machine, processing as many people as he possibly can... Pack a lunch so you don't starve while you wait forever.

Seems quite capable and very nice, once you get over the fact that he makes you sit in the waiting room for two to three hours every visit.. Great dr, but his time is a lot more valuable than yours.. I don't think he's capable of keeping a schedule, so plan on spending the day there-- with a crowd of other folks that are frustrated To be spending their day in a waiting room

Dr. Buzney has high credentials and he has much experiences but his judgement can be poor which can put patients in situations that are not cared for. He does not know his weaknesses and his staff are not aware of that going trough the routine professes with loopholes. Dr. Buzney has to prove himself that he is all-around doctor with sympathetic to any patients. He also need to be versatile in handling his staff, fixing up their manners to be more courteous to patients and be more understanding
