Dr. Pabom is a very sought after opthamologist in the area. Before going to her being new to the area, I went to someone else who I had an awful interaction with in that all questions I had were dismissed. Dr Pabon has a lovely manner with patients. She listens and responds

Extremely Long Wait Times, Way Overbooked
Elderly parent called by office to reschedule annual to a week earlier, Dr. wanted to go on vacation week of scheduled appt. Arrived 15 min early, nowhere to park. Had to wait and drive around til a parking space for Wheelchairs opened up. Walk in, check in, and the waiting room was full. 25 people! Not appropriate social distancing for health comprimised patients, even though masked. Must have crammed vacation week appts all in 1 day. 30 more min wait until the tech called is. The tech did eye test, & poked an instrument in patient's eyeball, and touched patient's face & eyes without using gloves/ washing. Then forced their head into the machine to get a pic of the eyeball. Sent back to waiting room for another 45 min, ushered to another room. 10 minute wait to see the doc. Doc in room for 5 min. Patients oxygen was beeping and depleated. Horrible wait times & triple booked scheduling inconvenience. Wait times usually long, but this was insane. 2 hours for eye exam, mostly waiting.

I had a 3:15 appointment and had to get on a work call on my cell phone at 4 pm. At 3:58 pm, I told reception I would be outside for the next 30 min with my CEO. She said ok. Then 2 min later they try and come get me for my appointment. I asked for some flexibility. I suggested, they simply give me 10 min, I would tell me CEO I needed to run and then come in. They said no. I then suggested swap another patient that was waiting and I will go after them. They said no. I know my 3:15 appointment wasn't the last appointment because initially when I rescheduled I could have taken a 3:45 slot. It's sad they expect you to wait 45 min past appointment and then you ask for some flexibility and you get none. They acted like it was the end of the world. Only option they entertained is rescheduling and making me come in next year, which would cost me 10X more because I used up my deductible this year. In my opinion, I would recommend not even thinking about coming here. Sad my time means nothing.
