Dr. Sheela Choubey, MD

I can’t express enough gratitude for Dr. Choubey and the exceptional care I received. Dr. Choubey performed a D&C procedure for me, her quick action and thorough expertise saved my life Throughout this journey, she was not only professional but also compassionate, making sure I was informed and supported every step of the way. I am forever thankful for her skill and dedication. She truly goes above and beyond for her patients. I highly recommend Dr. Choubey for her outstanding medical care and compassionate approach.

7-9-2024, went to see her due to my other OBGYN not being able to schedule me sooner and experiencing long menstrual cycle. First and last visit.Her attitude was condescending and horrible and made me feel like I was at fault.She gave me no warning, no explanation when she tried to perform exam on me and it was painful. I had to tell her to stop twice and she repeatedly asked me invasive questions when I had told her multiple times that I did not have that experience, and haven’t used a tampon in years. She then tried to insert a tool and it hurt, once again told her to stop. I was in tears. She told me she could either complete the exam or leave her office. I told her it was too painful to complete, so she does a blood test instead. She tells me to schedule an appointment with Radiology, and forced me to schedule an appointment with her a month later, and gave me a prescription to stop the bleeding. Will go back to my usual OBGYN, will not come back!!

I am with her for nearly 7 years now and I find her really really good. She's knowledgeable and nice and is always ready to help.

It was wonderful having Dr. Choubey as my doctor during my pregnancy. I relocated from Morristown to the North Brunswick area and was looking for excellent care. I was able to find it with Dr. Choubey, her and her staff are just exceptional. I was able to call and ask questions and they were thoroughly answered. Dr.Choubey took lots of time to provide comfort and put us at ease with all of our questions and concerns. She took the time to call and share all the test results. She is a doctor that genuinely cares about the outcome and success of my health and the baby’s health. I was a high risk pregnancy, but everything went smoothly thanks to Dr.Choubey’s guidance.

I would not recommend this dr. I had just moved to the area and had an emergency. My old OBGYN was too far away. I called this office & they had a cancelation and was able to see the doctor. After that it went down hill. the staff is rude& incompetent. They called in medication that was not covered by my insurance after I called repeatedly with the one I needed. I then got a bill from this visit this week (from Nov 16) and left 3 messages with the billing department. I had to call a 4th time.

This is our first pregnency and I always have concern but the doctor doesn't even listen to my concern or explain what should I do or should I even need to worry the concern I have. I don't recommend this doctor to anyone.

Awful. Will never see me in an emergency situation. Never refills my prescriptions unless I make an appointment 4-5 days later from calling. Staff is rude and does not care. The phone calls to the staff to make an appointment are also awful. I always ask for Dr. Coogliani and never can get him. I am switching doctors soon.

Just horrible. Wasn't courteous during my first visit and was very rude during the second. They wouldn't fax my paperwork to my new doctor and yet had me pay for it. Final visit,I waited over an hour to be seen. Do not recommend to anyone.

I would not recommend Dr. Choubey or Dr. Davda to anyone. I was misdiagnosed for a disease I never had. Which I knew I never had or seen evidence of. Then they said I may have cancer. I got a second and third opinion. The medical assistants are young and do not what they are doing. I would not recommend my dog to them.

This is my first pregnancy and my experience with this office was very unsettling. The wait room is small, there are no brochures about classes or literature, and the same commercial plays on the tv over and over. Front desk was not very friendly. The bathroom where you have to do a urine sample is gross, with no paper towels or sanitary wipes. Their technology and everything they use seem outdated. The way she does ultrasounds is awkward/uncomfortable. Not a lot of concern for patients comfort.

They over book and keep you waiting for over an hour. Waiting room is hot.

In my emergency situation, my overall experience was wonderful!
