Disappointed
After 15 years with this pediatrician, Dr. Hathaway referred my child to a specialist for gender dysmorphia. My child does not have a significant history of childhood gender dysphoria and has suffered severely from mental health issues. We were twice in the ER 6 months prior to our last visit with Dr. Hathaway. The dr and office went out of their way to alienate my child from her parent, the same person who has been her strongest advocate throughout her struggles. There were multiple ways (legal, logical and using common sense) to move forward with situation and I am disappointed and shocked at how things transpired.
