Dr. Shawn Echard, DPM

Dr. Echard relieved my anxiety by exhibiting knowledge, competency, and compassion. He took the time to numb my painful toe before removing a portion of infected ingrown nail. He had a wonderful bedside manner, great sense of humor, and the procedure was over in minutes. His staff are equally great from getting me a sooner new patient appointment, ease of completing forms online prior to appt, warm reception at check in, and patient care during procedure. They deserve high praises and I will definitely return for any podiatry specialty needs.

I would never go anywhere else

Probably had my toenails trimmed. I'm diabetic. Not supposed to do my own. Dr. Echard does them well and even files them smoothly.

Dr. Echard was pleasant and patient with me in how I explained my issue. He seems knowledgeable and explains things in terms I can understand. After three treatments and some good advice, my issue is resolved. Everyone there that I interacted with was polite and pleasant. I would not hesitate to recommend him for treatment of foot issues.

Appts were rushed in the 'custom fittings' for orthotics. Appts took months to be scheduled then literally all they did for the 'customization' was trim the back edges with scissors. Charged me $400. They didn't explain what they were going to do for the molds causing a lot of pain in my foot when she pressed down. Was told the doctor would see me for the 'customization' but the doctor never came in the room. When I asked if he would answer some of my questions he came in and creepingly stated he was listening in on everything his tech was saying and implied I shouldn't have any questions for him. Just plain wierd.

The visit was a complete waste of time and money and I feel like I got robbed. He didn’t listen to anything I said, didn’t even come near my feet to look at where my nails grow into my skin. I wanted a professional podiatrist to cut my toenails properly but yet that didn’t happen. He just told me how the pedicurists should do it. Seemed dismissive and/or lazy.

I am very satisfied with the treatment I received at Dr. Eckhard's. I received the Laser treatment for my inflamed achilles and it helped tremendously. The Doctor explained the procedure well and the laser tech was was also knowledgeable about the procedure. The staff is very kind and courteous. I would recommend.

Dr. Echard is one of the nicest doctors I have ever dealt with. Takes time to listen to the patients' concerns, fully explains all the options and recommends the treatment options best suited to the patient. His staff is very friendly and helpful.

Both my daughter and I have had first class service from Dr. Echard and his staff. Everyone is kind and personable The staff in both of his offices treat you with dignity and respect. I would recommend Dr. Echard to anyone who needs his services.

Dr Echard is knowledgeable, very thorough. Address all concerns. Explains options makes his recommended treatment but final approach is the patients decision. Office staff is wonderful.

I do NOT recommend Shawn Echard. I went to him with plantar fasciitis pain. I tried his lazer therapy($500) and that felt good 2 hours after I left but it was not a cure, he sold me a brace and a boot my physical therapist laughed at because it was not the proper brace for plantar fasciitis. then he offers me shots that are hundreds of dollars a piece (not FDA approved, contains pig fetus stem cells) I did not attempt these shots. some of his treatments did not have a pay code for insurance ....he told me because his high end treatments weren't working I was FAKING my pain!!!!!! So at what point was he going to stop excepting my money for my fake pain!!! A different doctor diagnosed me with a more rare form of plantar fasciitis, I told him and all he could say was I'm a nice guy...yeah I could act nice for hundreds of dollars too...NO NO and NO to Echard.
