Dr. Shaun Laurie, MD

Nursing staff very rude, judgmental, failure to return calls, providers, failure to treat. Cynthia and Silvia are very poor excuses for nursing, Being in healthcare myself to over 53 years this is the worst office I have every visited. There are so many things I could say but I won't bother. I will just say please go to an office where the staff and the medical providers really care about providing good medical care. This office is not safe or caring.

Dr. Laurie has been my grandmother's primary care for as long as I can remember. He and his staff have always been helpful and his care of his patients is commendable. My grandmother is now 89 years old and Dr. Laurie has seen her through various heart and other issues. He always makes her feel she is heard and takes time to review her changes and issues in medication. If she has any issues we follow up and while his team may not call back immediately they are timely enough. I appreciate Dr. Laurie and his staff and the job they do. Keep up the great work! A caring Dr. is hard to come by these days, but appreciated all the more.

It’s both the doctor and his nurse practitioner, Andre, that I have multiple issues with regarding medications. One isn’t aware what the other has approved or changed. That’s very dangerous

Dr. Laurie is a good physician. I have known him on a professional level since he first started his practice in Tallahassee. However, the majority of his office staff including his nurse are very rude, sarcastic, not helpful, causing you to make numerous phone calls to the office for the same thing. Neither Dr. Laurie, his nurse nor his office staff return calls to the Home Care nurses which delays care for the patients. Jumping through many hoops is what is expected at this practice. If I could give his nurse Cynthia a ZERO I would. Dr. Laurie however is 3 out of 5. You are only as good as your office staff. His Nurse Practitioner also very helpful.

If I could give zero stars I would. Him and his staff are inappropriate and rude. They do not return phone calls and do not take their patients concerns serious. Would NEVER recommend him.

Although Dr Laurie is personable enough his staff is reason enough not to use his services. Was leaving on an extended trip and left repeated messages for a prescription refill with no response. Finally after a weeks worth of messages I finally got a call back and was told I would have to see the doctor since its been just over twelve months. I asked for a 30 day refill since they took so long I had already left for my trip and they told me to go to a walk-in clinic where I was visiting and get

He's a very kind and helpful doctor. Been in his office several times for treatment and understands and fulfill my needs every time. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr. Laurie is a professional, very knowledgeable and caring physician. He does not rush through your appointment and he addresses all of your questions or concerns. We are very lucky to have been able to get with him.

Staff is incompetent, Dr does not keep records up to date

I used to like Dr. Laurie and thought he was very capable. He was my doctor for 18 years. But over the last few years his quality of care and bedside manner have greatly diminished. His office staff is inept at the jobs they do. I have had to change doctors after all these years which was hard to do but I had no other choice.

While it is not my personal experience, it is the personal experience of my mother. She has been in Dr. Laurie's care, off and on, for the past number of years. From sheer observation during her visits, he has what I would refer to as :warehousing practice one in which he has literally hundred of patients at nursing homes, hospital, and office visits. He rushes in to attend to my mother and rushes out, thereby leaving me with serious doubts about the quality of care being extended to patients

Came for a wellness check that's covered by insurance. Was persuaded to have a follow up visit which was nothing more than a guy reading my lab results to me, as if I couldn't read myself. Considered it a follow up visit for the wellness check and expected it to be covered as well. Instead, got a bill for 2 office visits, nothing was billed to my insurance. They simply turned my wellness check into office visit without saying a word, although I clearly stated I came for wellness check.
