Dr. Shashi Saigal, MD

I recently moved to the area and had to change providers. I found Dr Saigal through my insurance. She changed the medications I’ve been on for 10+ years without talking to me. I’ve made appointments for one thing, she spends the entire appointment talking about my weight instead of helping me with my mental health issues. She clearly did not read my file or listen to anything I said in appointments. She changed my medications without talking to me about it. She lied in appointment notes about what was talked about to make herself look like she was doing her job although conversations never happened. I will be finding another provider who actually listens to and treats patients with respect.

Her communication is very poor and never answers my concerns through the message center but is also not available to meet in person. She keeps changing the timeline for my treatment without any explanation. Wouldn’t recommend to visit her.

After being in the office twice in the same week and antibiotic not working she refused to change my prescription and order what I needed instead referring me to the er as I was out of town. After being a regular patient for nearly 15 years in my time of need she refused to help me. I will not be returning.

very callous, uncaring and hurtful doctor. I would likely have died due to her attitude. Sashi Saigal was my PCP. I had breathlessness in May 2017 which grew worse and worse. I asked for a stress EKG but she asked me to wait until her return from vacation to India. While she was away, I insisted and life was saved by 5X open heart bypass surgery. During my stay at the hospital we never received even a phone call from her. She even terminated me from her practice! Distressing for a heart patient

She's what GPs used to be in days gone by; patient, thorough, warm and assuring

Dr Saigal has been our family doctor for over 10 years. We've stayed with her because her style of practice is what we appreciate. She is thorough, she is thoughtful, she explains what causes our ailments or what diets/habits make sense/are risky for our health. She does not push pills at you as a means of relief, which is critical to us. She detected my mitral valve weakness during a routine visit; that led to me undergoing surgery once it became necessary.
