Awful doctor
I have been with Dr. Wasserstrom for a couple years and it has been like pulling teeth to get anything done. She coded my account for an annual visit as if I came in for another specialized treatment. Annuals are covered under my insurance. But she wanted to get the money for the visit so she looked at a mole on me and asked me about a mole. Then proceeded to code the visit as a more expensive one. Then she failed to complete my FMLA properly because she was seemingly irritated with the specificities. I’m at my wits end. I would only recommend this office to my worst enemy! I’m currently working on transferring to a more qualified professional.

I am retired RN and sought out a Lifestyle MD after healing my own neurological disorder that over 22MD’s couldn’t. I looked for someone like Dr Wasserstrom. I loved her, very knowledgeable of how our body actually works! As I told her what I had been through (15 agonizing years!) she sighted study after study to the med. student that supported why I had been able to reverse the disorder I had been disabled with. If you take no responsibility for what you ingest and your lifestyle choices she is also Internal Medicine and can order you a pill. Take it from me it just simply doesn’t work as well. The word “Doctor” means “Teacher” and I always like someone a bit smarter than me when I walk into that room.

Dr. Wasserstrom is one of the first, if not the first doctors in the Bronx to be certified by ACLM, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. This is surely the future of medicine, focusing primarily on diet and on what we can do for ourselves with our lifestyle to stay in optimal health as long as possible.

i have been with this doctor for about 3 years and I'm searching for a new one as I type. She does no follow up when test come back abnormal. Will send you a notice of whats wrong with no explanation no plan nothing. She is not patient friendly. Felt as if when i asked questions and expected feed back she looked as if she was spaced out or thinking about something else. When not feeling well you call or send message through my chart and she never responses.

My experience with this doctor was very disappointing. She has been my primary care doctor for a few years and she does not know any of my health problems. She does not review my chart before seeing me. Every time I visit her office she ask me the same questions as if it's been my first visit. She shows zero interest in my medical problems. She sent me to see a few specialist and she didn't even know which doctor she sent me to. I do not feel safe with her. she is horrible! Do not trust her!

Dr. Wasserstrom has poor bedside manners. She barely looks at patient and is quick to refer to other physicians before explaining possible ailments or giving suggestions.
