Dr. Sharon Tinanoff, MD

The office scheduled an appointment for my wife for her annual physical. They sent an email on June 17, 2022 telling my wife that her annual physical was scheduled for June 21. My wife happens to be in the Amazon (literally), so she texted me and asked me to help. I called Dr. Tinanoff's office to rescheduled. I was treated very rudely. Then at the end of the call, I was told that my wife would be unable to get a physical this year since she had cancelled the first appointment. I was shocked. I have never been treated like this by any doctor I have ever seen.

I have been a patient at Mt Vernon for decades. The Doctors are good , the access to the Doctors awful. Response to phone messages is very slow or, non existent. My access to the portal has been blocked. The last two times I have been sick( within the last month) after no response to my requests for a visit, I ended up with other Doctors taking care of my needs. I must add , very satisfactorily.

She’s been my doctor for over 20 years. In the last several, ive had a significant health problem that she has been incredibly supportive of trying to get to the bottom of it and connecting me to the right doctors. Always incredibly helpful.

Dr. Sharon Tinanoff is a very observant, caring and detail oriented Dr. I had been seeing many doctors about my spine and not one mentioned questionable lesions and moles on my back. Dr. Tinanoff recommended I see a dermatologist. The dermatologist found four areas of melanoma and squamous cell. If it weren't for Dr tinanoff I don't know where I would be. Thank you Dr. Tinanoff for being observant and caring. I drive from Myrtle Beach South Carolina to Atlanta just to see her.

I am very picky about my doctors and have total confidence in Dr. Tinanoff. For insurance reasons I had to change doctors a couple of times during the past 20 years but have always returned as soon as I was able. Dr. Tinanoff is not only very knowledgeable but also very compassionate and has taken excellent care of me. I recommended her to a friend who also raves about her.

I've been going to Dr. Tinanoff for 11 years. I'm extremely happy to have her as my physician. She takes the time to talk to me, ask me questions and makes sure that she finds out how I really am. She takes care of me even when I don't want to take care of myself, you know how busy life gets. Thank you Dr. Tinanoff.

Dr. Tinanoff is smart and very personable. It is clear she cares and she is an excellent diagnostician and provides timely, excellent treatment. You really cannot do better than Dr. Tinanoff as a primary physician.

I will start by saying I that I think that Dr. Tinanoff is a really good doctor, she it thorough and bright. The office staff on the other hand is horrendous! I am appalled with my encounter this week, it's unreal. Like other reviews state, trying to get someone on the phone is like your odds for winning the lottery - slim to none. I was scolded in front of other staff members for a simple misunderstanding of how long it takes to get a prescription refill. The office staff is abrasive and surly.

Extremely efficient without being rushed.
