Unorganized and slow
Others that got here after for the same mohs procedure left before us. It takes 5 hours when you’re negative after the first removal. Check in staff have no idea what’s going on. Dr is good but doesn’t seem to have any idea what is going on with order and efficiencies.

First they have been transfering our appointment a couple of times. At the day of appoinment I arrived 5 minutes late after driving to their office for 40 minutes. They did not accept me saying it is too late! I characterize it as very bad manners and unprofessional approach. Will never visit them again.

I highly recommend Dr. Horton, extremely through and deft with her surgical skills. Dr. Horton did a procedure on my temple area and sutured it as invisibly as any plastic surgeon could. She's the BEST.

Dr. Horton's skills are highly accomplished and she is very reputable with MOHS surgery. She explains everything clearly and recommended actions to prevent another squamous cell carcinoma nodule. The wait time was minimal and the experience was not painful in the least. I was out of the office much more quickly than expected. I would highly recommend Dr. Horton.

Although I live more than 1 1/2 hours away I have driven to Dr. Horton's clinic for many years because I find her work outstanding and her staff extremely well trained. I have received quite a few treatments over the years due to excessive sun exposure and always been totally satisfied with the results.

Although wait time may be long at times, it is well worth it! Dr. Horton is top notch and I am very sad to have to find a new dermatologist due to moving to NC! She was quick to do a biopsy on my hand because of suspicions that it might be something related to autoimmune and she was correct! If it wasn't for her, I would not have known I had something serious going on with my health! Thank you for many great years of treatment Dr Horton!

Dr. Horton's team is professional and respond well to concerns when calling for an appointment. I have had to wait months before getting in to see dermatologists when I have been worried about bleeding moles. I have been seen by Dr Horton within 1 or 2 days of my calling. Dr. Horton is very skilled and has always been supportive of my needs.

Visited this office five times, and only saw this Doctor ONCE.....For maybe 15 seconds! The other times I only saw this other person (nurse tech?) ...The doctor only came in one time. She literally circled me, agreed on the diagnosis, and out the door! The doctor was NOT the person who answered my questions......She never stayed in the room long enough!

The wait time is way too long in the waiting room and the exam room. Dr. Horton does mainly surgery so she has a physician assistant see her patients. And for some reason the assistant is obsessed with wanting to do biopsies. I had a mole on my face that she wanted to do a biopsy on because she thought it looked suspicious and she told me it would leave a scar so I said no way. I don't want a scar on my face. Dr. Horton came and said it just looked like a common mole. I will never go back.

Dr. Horton is the best! She is an expert in this complex field. She takes time to explain the situation in words that we can all understand. She provided options for treatment which is nice. She is very focused and while sometimes that can be perceived as unfriendly, Dr. Horton cares deeply about her patients and gives us the best care.
