Knowledgeable & Committed to Women’s Health
Dr. Hodges is totally professional and thorough. I’ve used her for years and keep my conversations limited to the purpose of my visit. This allows her to maintain a steady flow in meeting appt. schedules. Anyone wanting to get off-subject wastes her time AND the times of others waiting to be seen. Some may be put-off or offended by her strictly-business attitude but I appreciate getting IN AND OUT of my appointments in a timely manner.

Excellent doctor
Dr. Hodges delivered both of my kids via c-section many years ago while she was still practicing in Decatur. She did an excellent job with both the babies and my care.

Out of necessity and the proximity of this practice, I have sparingly been coming here for my yearly exams, it in all honestly, this practice, and Dr. Hodges in particular, leaves not a lot to be desired, but lacks diversity, as their are no doctors of color here. I visited today to get my yearly exam, which is covered by my insurance. I also wanted to discuss possible surgery. Due to my iron levels being too low, I cannot be a candidate for surgery. She asked me what questions I had, which it’s not like I had a list in my pocket. However, I asked if this office did robotic surgery & inquired about recovery time. Both questions I knew the answer to already cause…the internet/books. As the “medical professional” she didn’t offer or volunteer ANY information! Make any suggestions. Didn’t say if she thought it was a good or bad idea, discuss any other alternative surgical solutions or anything, yet had the audacity to bill me for a consult to get my insurance co-pay. Poor bedside manner, when I told her she was hurting me, she said it was going to hurt more before she was through. Procedure seemed to take a long time.

Poor bedside manner, very cold and unapologetic when she hurt me during my exam. Even after I cried my eyes out and nearly screamed in pain, I ended up being the one to apologize, and she sounded annoyed with me because she couldn't finish her exam. Very rough and not friendly whatsoever.
