Not a good doctor
She is so dismissive. I have had internal doctors before that were very happy with. She doesn't care at all. Any issues or questions me and my husband had, she always says I don't know go se a specialist. We had very minor issues that an internist should handle but she always referred us to the specialist. We both saw specialists for our minor issues and when we told them that our internist refer us to them, they all said an internist should deal with this. She doesn't even do a good exam for the yearly check up. She just wants to finish the job and get out of the room.

I’m fortunate to have found a wonderful Doctor.
Moved into area from out of State. I tried numerous Doctors but just couldn’t find the right one. The first visit with Doctor Doss was excellent. She is very professional with a caring and friendly staff. I hope to have her until my last breath.

Sorry I Went
I was extremely disappointed with my appointment with Sharon Doss. My physical was swift and no breast exam was offered or given. In my opinion, her demeanor was atrocious.

Truly unprofessional
Dr. Doss is not a good doctor, I went to her because I was wanting to have everything be in the same system, she questioned all of my diagnosis even though they were in my chart then when she found out I was on Medicaid she said “What are you, disabled?” Needles to say I left but listen to these reviews they are not lying

Zero stars
Avoid at all costs. Zero bedside manner. You would be better off seeing no one.

Rushed! Worst doctor visit ever! She could be very smart in her field, not for me to judge but lacks concern and care for new patient. Guess I won’t be going back.

Dr Doss is more concerned with herself than the health and well being of her patients. She put me in a position of incredibly enormous life and death risk during the pandemic, and then became basically incommunicado. She has no empathy and forgot about the Hippocratic oath. I’d definitely go elsewhere if I were you.

This is an update to the review posted August 15, 2019. I noted no gown, no breast exam, etc. During my annual ob/gyn appointment last month, with a different doctor, a lump in my breast was detected. Fast forward and after a mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I don't know if a breast exam is typical in an annual physical; n my opinion it should be. Thank god I had the sense to proceed with my ob/gyn! I will never see Dr. Doss again.

She has never been thorough in my annual exams or in explaining or discussing anything with me. I had some other health issues, which I went to specialists for and decided to go back again, just to give see if she would consistently disappoint or just had a bad day. After I passed out 3 times, and went to her for my annual, she didn't have any suggestions as to what I should do about it. Immediately after that, a medical professional suggested that most syncope is due to heart issues, I immediately went to see a cardiologist and my health problem was resolved. Very disappointed in her performance, whether it be routine or for advice. I've found someone new and my experience is far superior to what it was with her. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but, unfortunately, she has consistently performed in an inferior manner!

Dr. Doss is always available to make an appointment, so I've used her service several times. In a physical exam, she moved to the next check point before even observing my reaction to the current one! She doesn't this as if she were a worker in McDonalds. In another visit, she ordered expensive exams without even asking for pre-authorization from my insurance company, and when I emailed/called her afterwards to followup, she NEVER responded. She doesn't care about nor respect her patients, I don't think she even sees her patients as human being, just an object. IMHO she's a better fit to work with robots/machines rather than real people.

Wanted to get in and out as soon as possible despite the fact that I’d been in an accident. Didn’t address all my injuries and gave no advice on how to take care of myself. Only used her because my primary was booked. Never again.

I used the walk-in clinic at North Shore University Deerfield location and she was the doctor on call. She was friendly, thorough, reviewed my records from my primary care physician at North Shore University and provided the necessary guidance and medicines. She was empathetic, asked good questions, and explained my condition. I would recommend her and be pleased if I saw here again.
