Condescending and cruel. Would not look at images, refused to take a detailed medical history, and spoke with such disgust and condescension I could not believe anyone had ever allowed this person to interact with patients.

Cruel, dismissive, arrogant, incompetent
I have worked in Healthcare myself for decades. The fact that this person is allowed to interact with patients at all is further evidence of that Penn provides no supervision or monitoring of patient care at all. She was dismissive and disrespectful to the point of cruelty, in spite of MRIs showing 5 herniated disks. Truly disgusting.

Back Issues
I was referred to Dr. Gohil by my primary care physician. I had significant apprehension about the prospect of receiving injections in my back. However, Dr. Gohil and her team skillfully alleviated my fears right from the start. The procedure was completely painless and I felt completely relaxed throughout.

Much Less Than you would Expect at PENN MEDICINE
My experience with Dr Gohil was similar to all the other negative reviews. She made absolutely no effort to review my history and most recent MRI's with me. She did not provide any insight at all as to the possible causes of my pain. She only gave stock answers. She provided no plan unless I asked her. She at one point said she was confused as to what I wanted. That was a pretty bizarre question. Anyway, I doubt this would be the doctor you want for ongoing care.

No follow up and not caring
Asked for after visit summary and found out she did not take one note during my visit. Guess I bored her. No call back from her or staff with results for test she had me take. Was a waste of my time and money. No care plan or any suggestions for follow up. Will never be going back or recommend.

I didn't like her. She questioned my symptoms. I'm scheduled for cervical epidural with her and although I didn't like her I'm desperate for relief of my symptoms so I'll follow through with the injection. She seemed skeptical as to whether she could even provide me relief through an injection even though I've had relief in the past from them. She commented more than once that she thought I should go to PT - I've had these symptoms/condition for 25 years - surgeries/epidurals, all types of medication treatments ... and she thinks PT would work now. I wanted to laugh. I've never had a doctor tell me she didn't think the injection would work.

Dr. Gohil listened thoroughly, answered my questions, and had looked in depth at my imaging studies before she spoke with me. She is the only person to get me on a pain regimen that worked. She always answers any pain management queries promptly. I highly recommend her.

This Dr is rude and extremely condescending. She was so busy looking at only what the Dr’s office sent her that she forgot that has access to all the imaging and reports of Penn Medicine.
