Dr. Shari Anthony, MD

She’s always there to help, listen and be there for you. You’re not a number to her you’re a person and she takes her time with you. I highly recommend her

Hard to reach the office on the phone sometimes but once I'm in the office with Dr. Anthony everything is great (I highly recommend using the patient portal to communicate with the clinical staff and schedule (non urgent) appointments rather than call.) She's very empathetic and took the time to listen to me and understand my health concerns as I got sick. We had to try out a few different medications to see what stuck, the hassle of trying to change medications was mostly on the insurance company and I was able to communicate with her Nurse Vanessa via the portal about prescriptions. Vanessa and Dr. Anthony were both excellent at making me feel comfortable during my pelvic exam and pap, they had great advice re. finding a referral for an OBGYN. I love that she's a part if the Primary group and if she was out of town or completely booked for some reason I'm able to see another provider in the group for acute care. I'm sad to be moving away and loosing her as a Doctor.

From Lisa who answers the phone, to Dr. Anthony not calling in a prescription, to her nurse Vanessa not being responsive in a timely manner to the prescription not being called in, I was delayed 23 hours in receiving medication that I needed for a viral infection. This put me at risk of my condition worsening and lengthened my recovery. I received not one word of apology for the error or concern for my condition. I cannot not recommend this medical professional nor her practice for care. I have already scheduled a new patient appointment at another practice for my future health care needs.

Dr. Anthony never provided me a diagnosis for anything. It was almost as if she was waiting for me to tell her what to do. I even recommended my own BP medicine when the one she prescribed didn’t work. Then, during the pandemic, she refused to fill my BP medicine without a tele-med visit with me. The portal was difficult to use and it took me forever to get in. Once I got in Dr. Anthony logged in for LESS THAN 3 minutes and agreed to refill my prescriptions. I was then charged like a normal office visit ($150) for this LESS THAN 3 minute inconvenience. I guess when you are making over $50 per MINUTE, you don’t have to care. I’ll never go back to her again after that.

Dr. Anthony does not care at all about her patients and this has become even more evident during the pandemic. Prior to the pandemic she would require that I come in twice a year max to refill my meds for slightly elevated blood pressure, but now she is requiring I have a virtual visit with her almost monthly (can’t take my bp virtual) my ins is no longer covering. I have requested multiple times to see her in person, but staff have told me she is on a reduced schedule for in office visits and she can never get me in until weeks later. They have even asked for a special request to accommodate my need to be seen in person not only because my insurance coverage but also because I had an acute issue that I knew needed to be swabbed and sent for testing as I’ve had this issue in the past but she refused to accommodate my needs and said she could see me on her next available date for a face to face visit which as over 3 weeks out. She’s lazy and uncaring. I could give many more examples.

These negative reviews are shocking to me. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with both the office staff & Dr Anthony. She is great, patient and very knowledgeable. I’ve gotten results in a timely manner, always get same day or next day appointments and they are very thorough with the patient portal.

My experience with this doctor and the staff? NOT GOOD!!!! RUDE office staff! This is honestly the first review I've ever written. Ever! The previous doctor and staff were great and helpful! Dr. De La Cruz was awesome and as well as the staff. Now there are way more doctors and way more staff but the bedside manner and polities are out the door. This review is based on my experience only over the past couple of years and not meant to smear the doctor or staff. I respect professionals but also believe in customer service above all. I'm never going there again and I'm quite they won't miss me!

Incompetent, terrible staff/office!! On my visit, doc requested records from a previous doc. She needed this info to see when i was due for various tests.After waiting 4 weeks, i called and the office said records hadn't arrived. No follow up evidently by staff. They said they'd call again. 3 weeks later i personally dropped off my info. Weeks later and still no call. Incompetence reigns. Between the doc and staff, i still have no info on when tests are due. Looking elsewhere. Beware.

I am very confused about the few negative reviews. My experience was the exact opposite. My entire family and multiple friends are patients of Dr. Anthony's. She is knowledgeable, thorough and kind. I had a sick family member and she called to check how they were doing. I have never had an issue with her or her staff. Its sad when other people are miserable and feel they need to bring others down. Her parking lot and waiting room are always full when I am there! There are obviously many many others who have the same high regard for her as I do. A few silly reviews won;t stop me from continuing care here and recommending her!

WORST Dr And Staff Ever! They did my authorization paperwork wrong repeatedly, made me come back in for appt for no reason, ignored me and were rude. They had no compassion at all. I waited 6 weeks to finally get an MRI today and they still wouldn't call it urgent so that my approval would go through. I paid cash when my insurance would have paid it. I've been with severe pain and can't even work while waiting for this test. Resorted to Cortisone shot from urgent care while waiting to get MRI.

Today was my initial appointment with Dr. Anthony and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with everyone. I would surely recommend her to family and friends.
