I have suffered with depression and anxiety most of my adult life. seeing several psychiatrists throughout the years. Dr. V is top notch. He is not just knowledgeable about behavioral medicine, diagnosis and treatment, he has the ability to show patients he values them, puts their health first and gain their trust. When I started treatment with Dr. V, I was depressed, full of anxiety and had difficulty focusing. I desperately needed treatment, but my employer cancelled my health insurance making it difficult to find an affordable therapist. As a last resort, I sent a mass email to Atlanta psychiatrists listed in _Psychiatry Today_. I received 2-3 responses, one was Dr. V. who could tell from the tone of my email that I needed help. He stepped up to help me. He used a mix of medication and therapy and also diagnosed me with ADD, a condition I must have had for many years. This has been very helpful to my progress and mental health. I am so thankful he accepted me as a patient.
