Does not communicate well . Very abrasive behavior. I survived a surgercal procedure that went wrong, 2 days of life support, but I could not take Dr. Cao's behavior. I finally had to ask to have him taken off my case. I could write a book, but at least he's gone from my case and that's all that matters. My recovery is now going much smoother.

He is very knowledgeable. And cares about his patients like family. He went out of his way and did extra work above and beyond the scope of most physicians normal duties to help my wife with her multiple health issues. He is very personable and humble despite his vast knowledge of internal medicine. He still performs the duties as a hospitalist at one of New England top rated hospitals on top of his family practice. I would recommend him to anyone in search of a top notch primary care physician.
