Your trust is our top concern.

We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

Shane Patterson does not sugar coat things and do you really want that from someone who's job it is to keep you alive? I respect his honesty and ability to diagnose medical issues. He does not over-complicate things, and he does not let political correctness get in the way of dispensing the truth. I think its refreshing, even though others might get offended. He is your doctor, he's not paid to be your friend.

READ YOUR MEDICAL TREATMENT NOTES I recently read my medical notes from Dr. Patterson. They were nasty! These notes are read by all doctors, nurses and anyone else, and he painted a very negative and false view of me. Perhaps patients should be allowed to write up notes about their doctors each time we visit! That would change him real fast The next doctor I saw wrote very pleasant things about me. This doctor acted friendly to me, and I thought we had friendly relationship. He apparently likes to be the boss according to the notes he wrote. I left his practice and found 3 very good doctors, unfortunately each one relocated. Great doctors are out there. Suggestion: Ask for a copy of your medical notes. NOT the Summary Notes (which you can access online), but the Treatment Notes. These are the details that the doctor writes. You have a right to know what is being written about you. Call the doctor's office and ask how you can get a copy.

This Dr is a narcissist. He is belittling and would not listen to anything I said. The minute he saw I was chubby (although I had lost 70lbs), he refused to acknowledge any problems I had instead blaming my weight. Told me that if I only ate 400 calories a day, I could lose the rest of my weight. I had major gastroc issues and knee issues. I ended up in the ER and needed my gall bladder removed. Now that I found a new dr, I'm finding I need a total knee replacement. My knees are genetically deformed and my patella is bone on bone which finally explains my pain. This dr did not want to believe I had any real issues. Other drs in the area roll their eyes when hes mentioned. Even the techs know hes horrible. Hes been run out of two hospitals and now in private practice from what I understand. He also helps part time at MACT medical. Avoid him at all costs.

I have read the other reviews and although I agree that Dr. Patterson is, at times, abrupt I feel he is thorough and leaves no stone unturned. He is blunt but I happen to appreciate his honesty. His staff is beyond reproach and I have never waited longer than 10 minutes for my appointment. He could improve his bedside manner however I would (and have) look past that because he is competent, knowledgeable, extremely thorough and believe it or not very caring.
