Dr. Shan Guo, MD

Told me insurance won’t cover a medically necessary procedure. Has been so difficult to work with for a standard procedure that was recommended by multiple doctors. She requires me to come in to re diagnose me (each time) and then tells me “insurance won’t cover that”. I had to call four to five times each go round, just to convince them to try* to send it in and see if it’s covered. *it was covered twice. She still causes me to schedule and over explain it *is covered. Terrible service and caused me health issues by delaying procedures I needed. Told to just deal with the side effects of iron pills though it causes terrible pain and GI issues, (I have chrons and IB).

Dr. Guo is the best doctor! I cannot give her enough stars! Everything a top-notch doctor should be! Professional, very compassionate & caring, listens and explains everything concerning your situation. She goes above and beyond. She was a huge blessing when having to deal with cancer. Visiting her was always a positive experience! Love her!

I just love Dr. Guo she essentially saved my life. if it was not for her concern, compassion, and caring personality I do not think I would be alive today. She is the best at what she does. She breaks things down so that you understand and will always consider your concerns.

My father was treated by Dr. Guo for stage IV lung cancer several years ago. He eventually passed away after being on treatment for 4 years. We had a great experience with Dr. Guo. She is very knowledgeable, thorough and she takes the time to explain test results. She always returned phone calls. We are very thankful we had her as oncologist. When one of our family friends was diagnosed with cancer, we recommended her.

Every single person at this facility is wonderful, friendly and caring. It really feels like family. Dr. Guo is so caring, very kind.

I just loved her. She was so personable and took as much time s you needed to speak to her. I did not wait more than 5 minutes to get placed into a room. After they did blood pressure and all, she was in within minutes. I wish ALL doctors were like her.
