Dr. Shallon Craddock, MD

Great bedside manner and explains everything very well. She leaves no stone unturned and is very thorough. Her front office staff needs to work on organizing themselves and patients. Aside from that, you will get great care. Both of my children have been her patients until they aged out. Both received excellent care and attention they deserved from Dr. Craddock.

My daughter went to the ER so I called the next day to get her in to see the doctor for a f/u and because she had a fever for the past 4 days. The receptionist states that she is sorry they are booked for the day. I then ask if she can make an appointment for the following day, she says no. I explain to her that she went to the ER the night before and I want to set an appointment. She tells me I can call tomorrow to see if there is an opening. Therefore, no f/u is going to happen. They also lost my daughters paperwork for her 12 month vaccines. They were about to give her the vaccines again until the dad said that she did get it. I had to take her to do a titer to verify immunity. End of story she did have immunity, which means she got her 12 month vaccines. This place is so unorganized, hard to contact, hard to get an appointment in a timely manner, hard to get paper work signed in a timely manner. Do not recommend.

Gives a book to the kids to encourage learning, very informative about what is happening. Trust her over alot of other Doctors on this island quality of work is top notch.

Dr. Shallon Craddock is an amazing Pediatrician I’ve ever had for my kids. She has a very pleasant personality, gives good advices and my kids always get a free book reward from her every visit. The problem is that we feel left behind, I feel neglected, lack of communication with the Doctor because most of the times she have her assistance see us instead of the herself. And on top of that is the cocky receptionist. I don’t feel confident taking my kids here anymore. Ready to look for a better Pediatrician in town.

All 3 of my kids go to her. She is very pushy on the vaccines. I am not anti-vaccine, but I requested not having the flu shot and varicella and I was basically told that was not an option. I don't feel that a doctor has the overall say for my kids. They make you feel as if you are harming your children by not giving them 5 shots at a time! All I asked was for them to spread the shots out over time! Looking for a new provider.

While we were there today I was informed that Dr Craddock’s office is dropping us because my daughter hasn’t had her vaccine for chickenpox. She’s had the others, but this is one I don’t agree with. Seems ridiculous to me. I guess it’s her way or the highway.
