I saw Dr. Walker and his PA for knee pain. I was told that I was "of age" (I am 45). I was told that I am overweight ( I am) and I was told that the pain was due to arthritis. His PA was the most condescending person I have ever met. I found her rude and to be honest, stupid. I saw another doctor and was diagnosed with a torn meniscus. I have since had surgery and have had no problems since then. I would under no circumstances want Dr. Walker and/or his PA to ever attempt to treat me again.

Dr. Walker is fine but the staff is awful...rude and seems to forget who pays their salary...PATIENTS! Also was shocked to discover that this office charges $25.00 to complete a form. Not interested in taking care of patients.

Dr. Walker started transferred practices and I can only assume the lower ratings may have been the result of how his previous group operated because my experience with him and his staff was phenomenal. My appointments started on time, every time, which is nearly unheard of. He is incredibly personal, described everything in a way that I clearly understood and he was very generous with his time. Before and after my surgery, he had a very down to earth bedside manner.

Dr. Walker saw me on Friday after I received a dog bite on my hand. It was right before a holiday weekend and he was concerned about infection spreading. He made a special trip to an outpatient center closer to my house on Saturday morning to reevaluate the bite and make sure I didn't need to be admitted for IV antibiotics. He went above and beyond and was extremely kind and patient. He even gave me a contact number to reach him directly since the office was closed for the holiday.

I would highly recommended Dr. Shaka Walker! After a failed previous surgery from another doctor, I spent 10 years limping on a rare ankle injury. I was given almost no hope from many doctors. Finally, after many prayers, the Lord sent me the right Doctor. He is extremely intelligent, very positive and upbeat. He explains things very well and patiently takes his time to go over any and every detail. It took me 3 years to completely heal but now I am pain free! I am forever grateful to this man!

Dr. Walker was easy to talk to, responded to questions with informative answers, and willing to work with me. He helped me decide how to proceed with a very challenging complicated shoulder rotator cuff problem. We're not finished yet but working on it.

Dr. Walker completely misdiagnosed me as having a patella (kneecap) issue and arthritis. He sent me to physical therapy and the PT immediately suspected I had a torn meniscus. I saw another doctor who ordered an MRI and I have a torn meniscus. I have spent the past month limping around and in pain. If Dr. Walker had examined me thoroughly and not relied on his PA for diagnosis, I would have had this taken care of much earlier and not suffered as much. Would not recommend him to anyone.
