Dr. Shahla Mousavi, MD

At a recent office visit, I asked a question related to something that we had talked about at a previous appointment. She did not remember (or understand) what I was referring to, and asked me a stupid question in a very snarky fashion as if I were really stupid. I felt totally disrespected.

Dr Mousavi has been my doctor for several years. I have always felt listened to and well taken care of as her patient. She takes the time to get to know her patients and advise them on how to improve their health.

I was a patient of Dr. Mousavi for many years. During visits, she would type on her computer and seldom looked at me, much less touch my body. It was this type of care that resulted in a cancer that was left to spread for years. Consequently, I had to have a complicated surgery and a difficult treatment both of which did permanent damage to my body. None of what happened to me and what will continue to impact me negatively had to happen. It was all preventable if she had simply looked at me and had performed a simple touch test that would have caught the cancer when it was easy to treat.

Many years as patient, many visits, no disappointment

It is so hard to get an answer at her office. It goes to VM and only once was I called back and they didn't leave a message. It is very frustrating. My other provider needs records which I will probably have to repeat since I can't get the ones from Dakota Health.

Dro Mousavi Is a very bright and compassionate physician. She gives me the time required to explain to her my health issue and to fully discuss the options. She is articulate and intuitive.

She is the first Doctor who has been able to address my wellness with effective treatments for my needs.
