I saw you for a routine physical in February and received a bill from Quest Diagnostics for $182.47. Aetna Insurance denied several of the tests you ordered, because it turns out that they are not routine preventive care. The way your office has handled this billing debacle is, quite frankly, unacceptable. Not once in trying to get this situation corrected did I feel supported by your office, encouraged by your staff, or secure in your ability to do what needed to be done. I should not feel any of these things, or have any of these doubts, when it comes to an organization I have entrusted with my healthcare. It is not my job to be at war over billing. It is not my job to know more about preventive CPT codes than my primary care physician. And it certainly is NOT my job to pay almost $200.00 for a yearly physical, with health insurance.
