Dr. Shahad Ali, MD

Waited several months to write this review to make sure my experience with Dr. Ali was a pattern of behavior rather than a one off experience. It’s my experience that Dr. Ali is no longer a compassionate physician. I blame it on our healthcare system. No doubt she is overworked and covid did a number on healthcare workers. The last few visits she has had a bad attitude. As in, I told her the issues I’d like to discuss and she looked at her watch, made an annoyed sigh and proceeded to be short and dismissive thereafter. That dismissiveness and impatience has become a pattern. Additionally, the follow up care is a joke. Nothing is explained. You are just another number as her patient, which sadly merely makes her average with the provider strain and resulting lack of bedside manner that comes with it. I’ve noticed a change in her nurses as well. They are not kind like her pre-pandemic nurses were. Maybe they are traveling nurses and don’t expect to build relationships with patients.

Dr Ali asked me follow up questions which I thought was excellent because you don't get that from every Doctor!

I am a new patient under Dr. Ali and I am very pleased with having her as my primary care physician .She took quality time with me and covered all of my areas of concern. In fact she followed up after my mammogram and made sure that I received the instructions for an addition imagery that is needed. I will definitely be referring her to friends and family members and look forward to continuing to maintain a great patient doctor rapport.

As always Dr. Ali was on time and asked detailed follow up questions. She showed that she had prepared for our meeting and took time to explain all results of testing. She took time to review my medications and make recommendations as to any changes that may be needed. She will be missed by your organization.

I am very pleased to be a patient of, Dr. Ali I was concerned when Dr. Taylor retired my concerns were no longer once I met her myself as my husband, and on our first visit I also respected her opinion she's very kind and very professional she listened to every one of my concerns and she's very thorough you guys are lucky to have Dr Ali on your team.

I love Dr Ali! She is caring and patient and is genuinely concerned about my health and needs! She initiated the virtual appt to make sure that she answered my concerns! That is what I call an excellent medical professional!

Dr. Ali was kind and thorough. She immediately knew that I was dealing with a sty, and prescribed a topical antibiotic.

Dr. Ali was short and dismissive of my concerns. This was our first appointment and when I tried to explain to her what was going on, she cut me off. She asked me why I was taking a particular medication then when I tried to explain why it was prescribed (it’s well documented) she was dismissive. She was supposed to refer me to a doctor but when I went to the nurses station she hadn’t included the referrals in my record. Instead she had a referral for a colonoscopy that’s not due for 5 years. A good patient/doctor relationship is important and unfortunately she made me feel dismissed and unheard. I won’t be back.

Dr. Ali is friendly and courteous. She shows concern for me and makes sure I have addressed all of my health care needs.

Dr. Ali listens to the issues I am experiencing.

Dr.Shahad Ali has been very responsive to my needs and concerns.She always listens to you and then advises you of a solutions. I’m not high on a lot of pharmaceutical drugs too many side effects… I’ve just started having issues with my health since 2017 and that was my vision & then came 2020 I blame it on anxiety and depression she has been a influential part of my healings I highly recommend her services
