I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Khambati and the terrific office staff (Shauna, Mihai, and the team) for a SMILE lasik procedure in 11/2020. The whole process was outlined clearly, no surprises, and great, safe results! I really appreciate how smoothly everything went and just a personal comment, Dr. Khambati and the team onsite have all the qualities you would want for this procedure: calm, clear, confident, friendly. It put me at ease day of. I highly recommend.

My experience at this office is always perfect! No waiting, friendly staff, Doctor is great! The techs are great! The office staff is great! Everyone keeps you informed about what they are doing and everyone offers to answer questions. 5 stars for sure!

I had my surgery with Dr. Khambati on September 16, 2020. Over the last two weeks, I have experienced no eye pain, outside of the day of the surgery. Uncomfortable blinking also went away by the second day after the surgery. I was referred to him by an eye doctor who works for Henry Ford Optim Eyes. Dr. Khambati is a consummate professional who is kind and polite to his patients. He also doesn't waste any time during his appointments. If you qualify for eye surgery to fix your vision, I highly recommend his services.

I had an eye procedure done to remove a current stye and I was concerned with the amount of pain and Dr. Khambati reassured that he he would be as gentle as he could be and was very compassionate about reducing the level of anxiety that I had about the procedure. Dr. Khambati and his staff were so understanding, compassionate and helpful. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Khambati since 2007. We were interested in having Lasix to eliminate years of wearing glasses. We heard his ad on WMUZ and a testimony from the DJ that had his eyes done and then we did some more research and knew choosing Dr. Khambati was the best in his field. He truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend him for all of your vision needs.

I could not be happier with my decision in choosing Lake Laser Eye Center for lasik surgery. Dr. Khambati and the staff were very patient w/all my questions and concerns. One thing that was very important to me was that Dr. Khambati himself did my eye consultation, explained in detail my options as well as Ms. Shabnam. Another important detail, were the receptionists, they were always friendly, welcoming, and patient on the phone & during my follow-up visits. I have been a patient for over 8 years. My visits are relatively frequent d/t MS. Dr Khambati n staff Imad Heather n Holly have always been professional, informative, kind n patient. They are organized an efficient. My most recent visit identified an issue that requires a procedure to correct. They brought my husband in at my request to hear the details. Dr didn’t pressure me to agree but rather explained what it was, n how it might help. He was very up front about costs n what would n would not be covered by insurance. I required several spaced out appointments. The receptionist was very patient n accommodating in giving us dates that would work around our schedule.

Can’t say enough how much I appreciate this place! They have been so comforting and helpful every step of the way. Even when I had a very minor complication, they got me in right away and reassured me that everything will be OK! When you are doing some thing as important as fixing your vision, I would never trust anyone else with these guys!

I got lasik eye correction done last year with Dr. Khambati and they were very good. Listens to any questions and Got good response whenever i has any questions or concerns. Very comforting to have everything clarified information when going through such a procedure.

They are liars and only care money. I went to there for annual eye check and get vision exam in May 2018 as usually. My insurance company fully covers these annual eye check and get vision exam. During the exam, I was tested more than one year ago. I asked more than three times, “ Is this annual regular check? I do not want pay extra money for any additional check’. The nurse said, “ Yes, this is annual check,. Do not worry money”. However, after one year, I got the bill that I need pay 500 more dollar to the clinic. They are liars and mislead patients.

Raindrop procedure simultaneously completed with Lasik. Epic fail - See worse then I started and glasses do not even correct the lack of clarity - i Can no longer drive at night- u less I’m wearing sunglasses - but who wears sunglasses to drive at night ? Wish I had listened to my instincts. The Raindrop is even recallled—. So now what am I suppose to do ? Return it to him?

After wearing glasses for 42 years I was nervous about having the SMILE procedure done, however I could not be happier with the results. My vision is 20/20 for the first time in decades, the staff is amazing in their caring attitudes and helpfulness. And best of all is I no longer need glasses! I would recommend this procedure with Dr. Khambatti to everyone and anyone that is thinking about Lasik or a Laser procedure!

I looked up Dr. Khambati after being referred by a friend. The office staff is professional and friendly. The doctor himself has a pleasant chairside manner and is very efficient. The missing star is because of a clerical error that took much too long to rectify and one minor issue with professionalism.

Why he didn’t take picture before and after eyelid surgery?? All doctors take for show the work..his work in eyelid is worse , terrible, !!!

Dr. Khambati and his staff are excellent! Very patient with questions and explained my options clearly. Very knowledgeable. The procedure (PRK) was quick and seemed easy and the aftercare has been great! I am very grateful to have such a great team caring for me!

He, and his staff, are very friendly and professional. They are very responsive to calls after surgery too.

Excellent Care and Follow Up - Although surgery went well, my eye did not heal as quickly as expected. Dr Khambati had me come in for follow up visits quite often so he could track my progress. He ended up suggesting an amniotic membrane for that eye. After that I healed very quickly & my vision is great now! He is an expert in this field and knew exactly how to help my eye heal. I am so grateful that I had a surgeon who cares for his patients well being & is so knowledgeable.

Dr. Khambati and his staff are very knowledgeable at what they do and made me feel very comfortable before, during and after my surgery. I woke up the next day and my vision was already at 20/20. I recommend Dr. Khambati to anyone who is looking to free themselves from glasses, it’s a life changer!
