Dr. Seth Newman recently performed hernia repair surgery on me and I am very pleased with him and his team of professionals. He is very caring and answered all my question before and after surgery. I would highly recommend him to family and friends.

Dr Neuman performed surgery on my wife. Since I couldn't be present during covid he went out of his way to call and answer any question while leaving his number for any other questions. Doctor Neuman took all the fears out of my wifes experience.

I had an issue with an inguinal hernia tear that was surgically repaired over 30 years ago. It tore again recently and Dr, Newman was recommended as the surgeon by the resident doctors in the Emergency Room at Abington Hospital. They recommended it would be much better repaired with robotic surgery. Dr. Newman's bedside manner while giving his detailed explanation of what the surgery would entail was very thorough, courteous and polite. He and his team did an awesome job correcting my hernia issue. I would highly recommend him should you be needing surgery regarding his specialties.

Despite visiting Dr. Newman in person the night before for a condition, the dr refused to prescribe medicine for pain even though he himself had seen both me and the results to medical tests with his own two eyes. The reason? Dr. Newman said that because he had not had me as a patient for more than 3 years (false in the first place, he previously found a major medical condition), he would not prescribe me medicine for the pain. Under this would you not operate on me despite seeing my condition, solely on the basis that you haven't personally known me for a few years? Totally unprofessional on the basis he has seen my condition in person and resuses to prescribe medicine for me because of the pain.

I am 72 years old. I was diagnosed with double Bi-Lateral Hernias. Dr. Newman met with me in his office first to make the diagnosis. He again met with me at the Abington Surgical Center before the operation. He thoroughly prepared me for what he was going to be performing in the operating room. After he operated on me; I walked out of the operating room. I had no pain at all. I took an Advil just in case that night but I had no pain or discomfort at all. He is great!

He listened to my wife and me very well. He answered my questions and reassured me during the pre-surgery consultation. He and his surgical team were compassionate, attentive and the surgery was completed without any complications. I went home several hours after it was completed. I have NO complaints.

Dr. Newman is one of the best doctors that I had so far. He really listened and took the time to answer all my questions about the surgery. He also explained to me all the pros and cons of the procedure. He is also a very good surgeon. He removed my gallbladder 3 weeks ago, and I am back to my normal activities with no pain.

Dr. Newman is on the top of my list for being a wonderful and compassionate doctor. He listens, hears what you are saying, puts you at ease and makes sure all your questions are answered. His surgical skills are superior. What surprised me the most is a few days after my surgery Dr. Newman personally called me to make sure I was okay. His staff is professional and caring. When you leave a message, your call is always returned quickly.

I would not recommend Dr. Newman at all. He removed my gall bladder and I have had the same episodes of pain ever since. I now know, I have what has been diagnosed as Sphincter of Odi Disorder/Disease. If only Dr. Newman would have told me that this condition existed and explained that there were perhaps other reasons for my painful attacks (since I had NO gallstones) I would never had had the organ removed and I have been told since then it actually made this condition worse!
