I always feel comfortable and taken care of when I am seeing Dr. Lofgreen. He always shakes my hand when I see him and that makes me feel good. Dr. Lofgreen can always locate skin cancer issues and answers any questions that I may have. He got me started taking the Niacinamide supplement twice a day and I feel that is helpful in prevention. I would recommend Dr. Lofgreen as a highly educated, caring and very knowledgeable dermatologist

I went in for concerns around a couple of piercings, but made a comment about the birthmark on my face since some dermatologists have said it could become cancerous. While the birthmark might bother some people cosmetically, it has never been a source of insecurity for me. Dr. Lofgreen was not concerned about cancer, but he said, 'I should definitely get it removed,' that it's 'all people probably think about when they talk to me,' and continued to press on in a way that felt insulting. I humored him, because I guess I'd rather it not be there than be there, and allowed him to take off a small portion of the birthmark - maybe 15%. The whole process took no more than 3 minutes. He said he didn't know how the office priced things like this, but when I called, the office said HE had priced it at $500, which was high even in billing's opinion. So, I'm not sure why he's setting the price at $500 for something that would take no more than 12 minutes to complete, but I won't be paying that.

I thought like most VA referrals, this would get dragged out over multiple appointments, but Dr Lofgreen took care of everything and more in a quick single appointment. He did it professionally, and eith care and expertise. made the VA dermatology look like grade schoolers.Thank you for everything, Dr. Lofgreen!

Dr. Lofgren is thorough in his examination. I liked that he remembered me and what treatments I like even though it was only my second visit with him.

Dr. Lofgreen's insight into, and solutions for my dermatological issues are quick, concise and so very helpful! He's a clinical professional, but always has a smile to go along with his advice and suggestions! Definitely recommend him for any of your concerns!

Dr. Lofgreen did an overall scan, found 6 small melanoma, scheduled 3 and the 3 more later. Each time he still did an overall scan to be sure no more had appeared. Thanks.
