Dr. Seth Launer, DPM

After being told I needed a joint transplant by one doctor and an amputation by another doctor, I went to see Dr. Seth Launer. (2012)He looked at my x-rays and mri and said: 'I can save your foot.'I said, 'You're hired!'After EXTENSIVE surgery, I was walking and back to work five weeks later.I don't believe a single negative comment about him. I recommended him to a friend of mine who tore his achilles tendon, and he too, recovered quickly.

Improperly installed hardware in my foot and corrective surgery was required.

Dr. Launer is an amazing person and can awesome podiatrist I've been a patient of his for 24yrs and I highly recommend him to anyone who need or desire a capable reliable and compassionate podiatrist. He's your man. And his MA is awesome also they make a great team.

I wish I could say something good about my visit with him, but I cannot. He does not introduce himself, he seemed uninterested, told me quickly what he’d do, surgery, screws, plates, and if I didn’t want to do it right away gave me some shoe inserts. All in a matter of 5 minutes and then bills for $350. He comes across uninterested to put it mildly. I appreciate someone who is frank, but he comes across as uncaring. I’ll look for another provider who will explain better and listen to my concerns thank you very much.

I ended up with Dr lauder agter my original podiatrist left Optum. My appointments felt rushed and Dr launer was completely uninterested, and glossed over any of my concerns. I was left feeling that i was a inconvenience he was forced to suffer. In the end he finished the treatment my previous doctor started and even though I wasn't any better he didn't want to do anything else. Poor attitude, I didn't argue and will find another perhaps better skilled provider.

Several years ago, Dr. Launer overhauled my left ankle. I have full use of it with no limitations and I’m pushing 70 and very active. I think the folks who see him for corns and toenails are misinformed that his specialty is tendons, bones, with the latest surgical techniques. He is brilliant.

WOW, this guy?????????? Doctor Seth is one of top Doctors I have ever met. He explained things so well I COULD DO MY SURGERY ??, I won't but that was the only way to get your attention, if you can request or it's your own choice, any other choice than Doctor Seth would be second best. He looks you in the eye and tells you the TRUTH, confident and easy to understand, love this guy.

He is a wonderful doctor and all around wonderful human being to interact with. Hes not like your normal doctor. Hes honest and forth coming and definetly knows what hes doing.

I have seen a lot of foot Dr’s, and he is the only one who has helped. I could say a lot more about him, but all you need to know is that he is the best. Far better than any other Doctor, and I have seen them all. His staff is also great, especially Kim.

This doctor is horrific! Not only is he arrogant and rude but he has no idea what he's doing. He did not soak my foot before cutting my ingrown toenail, I was left with an infection which he did not treat properly and my ingrown toenail is even worse now. I just hope to find a better podiatrist in Albuquerque but then again ANYONE would be better - he's rude and arrogant and he violated his oath for he DID do harm - DO NOT SEE HIM - EVER - He left me in worse shape - HORRIBLE

I had to wait over 30 minutes to be seen. He spent just over 5 minutes with me to trim my corns and charged $344.00. After insurance, I wound up paying $112.00 out of pocket (including my $30 co-pay). This is much more than my previous podiatrist in another city charged for the same service.
