Dr. Seth Billiodeaux, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr. Billiodeaux for several years and he is the best. Patient, kind, and cares for you. Honestly one of the first doctors who believed I was in pain. He has become like family and I’m so grateful to have him as my doctor.

He was demeaning towards me...made me wait almost an hour when I didn't have to...he didn't even come back to tell me that I could leave-I had been waiting for him to return the whole time...after my last procedure with him-I felt worse on one side of waist than I did before...he came in one visit with his P.A. and after he scanned his notes he told me what the notes said...in other words he didn't give me any kind of exam.

Dr. Billiodeaux worked with me for years determining where my pain was coming from, he never gave up. It was found to be L1,L2,L3 pain, but also lower tailbone pain located at the sacrum. I have been practically pain free for 18 months. I highly recommend Dr. Billiodeaux.

Dr. Billiodeaux takes time to talk to his patients, consider options, and provide excellent care. I visited Dr. Billiodeaux after top Houston doctors were not able to provide solutions, or demonstrate genuine concern for me, my pain, or my health. Dr. Billiodeaux showed real interest, kindness, and patience with my many questions, and his techniques were painless and effective. Dr. Billiodeaux understands the nuances of pain and the unique complexity of each patient, is forward thinking, analytical and optimistic. I heartily recommend him and his excellent Team at Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles.

I was very pleased with my experience, he explained my procedure very well and the injections actually worked very well I highly recommend.

Great bedside manner, he answered all of my questions, gave me heads up on things that where coming, and most importantly he was engaged and communicated with his assistant. I don’t need someone asking me how the weather is or making small talk I needed someone who was going to get the job done and he did just that every single time!! He also comforted me and was patient when doing procedures. Which I very much needed, and appreciated. I agree about the office staff though this board is to review the DOCTOR and not the OFFICE STAFF.

I find his bedside manner distant and hurried. I feel he doesn't listen to my concerns and treats me like a drug seeker. I have refused medications due to interactions with other health concerns or medications. On one occasion he actually raised his voice at me asking what made my pain so special.

I called to schedule an appointment and told his office I had a recent surgery at Fondren Orthopedic Group/Texas Orthodox Hospital. Immediately I was asked who referred me. I told her I was trying to get info on what was needed to schedule. I told them my doctors were all in Texas. I am looking for a Dr. to take over since I will now be on Medicaid. She said we don't do monthly meds but get people off of them. I never even inquired about that. These people are rude. I would never go there. BAD!

He has poor bedside manners and believes everyone is stuck on pain meds.

From the 1st (october 2ND 2015) time I walked into the front door I was greeted very well by all the staff. Dr. Billiodeaux, your one of the few Doctors I have seen (At least 5) that have at lease saw a smile and acts concerned for me as a patient. Thanks for what you do! Keep up the Great work!

He is very professional. Hes very good at what he does. I am happy w the results of my pain management. I will recommend him to anyone.
