He was very imformative and explained that i am able to start lifting up to 10lbs as long as i dont lift above my head. And would like to see me lose a little weight because my bmi is almost 40

I was fortunate enough to get a referral with Dr.Botolin for my back. He is direct and will be transparent from the first visit. It was such a relief to have a surgeon talk with me and hear what I was hoping for and then he let me know what I must do for success. When I met with him I was in severe pain had sciatic effecting both sides of my back running down both legs as well as foot drop. I couldn't walk unassisted and couldn't find any relief. I am currently 3 months post op from back surgery and the results are far better than I expected. I can walk on my own,my foot drop has improved and I finally have pain relief!!!What he had done is amazing and transformative . There are not adequate words to offer with my gratitude and care I'm receiving. Thank you to Dr.Botolin and his team for giving back my life.

Dr. Botolin took my complicated case and performed a miracle. So far, the recovery is going exceptionally well, and the x-rays get better each visit. My quality of life has gone up immensely and he is to thank for that.

Simply put my spine was bad .. Dr. Botolin suggested surgery and his team walked me through every step ... Spinal neck surgery is tough. As a patient you need as much support and information as you can get to minimize the potential negatives aspects of it. Dr Botolin and his Staff were absolutely fantastic in every step of the process. I'm 3 months Post Surgery and because of them, I'm well on my way to a comfortable and full recovery!Thank you to UC Spine Clinic and all of the people in the hospital for the surgery piece. That was as good an experience as I could have asked for!

Dr. Botolin is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate, attentive, and patient. He takes time to listen to his patients, and answer questions. I had extensive lower back surgery, and am SO glad I came to Dr. Botolin. Additionally, his staff is likewise patient, incredibly helpful, and uplifting. Although I still have some healing to do, my back pain is significantly reduced at 3 mos post op.

Dr. Botolin was incredibly meticulous while also maintaining an empathetic demeanor. He informed me of all options and walked me through my injury so that I could fully understand what was going on. I ended up having the surgery and Dr. Botolin did a great job. He also called me personally the evening after surgery as well as a couple days after surgery.
