Consultation went very well 07-02-24. Very professional. Immediately scheduled me for surgery 07-19-24. Discussed procedure. Came very well highly recommended by the amazing Dr. Mark Strauss. The best Cardio thoracic surgeon. So looking forward to feeling better.

After an angina attack on vacation in Scotland in2003 I was flown home to Corpus Christi for bypass surgery. I have been symptom free since the quintuple bypass was performed and well enough to pass the physical to fly my plane. I’m 81 now and still passing physicals to fly and continue flying. Every time I take off I thank Dr T .

Dr. Tavares did heart surgery on my brother in law, and he did a spectacular job . Thank u Dr. Tavares. After checking his credentials I thank God he was the one to do the surgery.

I am the daughter of a patient Dr. Tavares operated on yesterday. I had read his credentials and reviews prior to Dad's surgery. I was so impressed in person. Dr. Tavares met me early in the day prior to surgery. About 11 that night when I was making my way to see Dad, Dr. Tavares remembered who I belonged to and stopped to give me an update. The ICU was overflowing and there were about 40 people in the waiting rooms. The volume of people made that even more impressive. Thank God for Dr. Tavares

While I was not a patient myself, my dad was. My dad had a surgery done in 2012 to repair an anuerysm on his ascending aorta. He had surgery on this day, December 9, 2015 for an abdominal anuerysm. Sadly, my dad did not make it. But, Dr. Tavares and his staff have done so well with my dad. Dr. Tavares stayed and worked on my dad for close to 12 hours. He came by ICU often and checked on him, stayed with my mom, brother, sister and I while my dad passed on. He offered us great support. Thank you.

In my opinion Dr. Tavares saved my fathers life today with a very complicated lung surgery: I don't know enough about him yet to give him a rating higher than this service allows but I I intend to find out if that is possible. fantastic, he did carotid surgery 11 years ago, all went great. I'm going to travel 1100 miles to go back to for the same problem. That's how much faith I have in this very talented man. Don't hesitate to travel if you want the best a vey grateful patent Mary Wood
