He denied me care because there was a mix up with scheduling. He obviously doesn’t put the patient first, especially when I made the appointment because of blood pressure issues. As a UC Health Employee, I could never imagine not putting the patient first.

Upset Daughter
He did not listen to me when I told him my Mother was having trouble. I went to visits with her for years so he knew she lived with me and I took care of her. He did not refer to specialists until I finally told him he was not listening and we would find another doctor. He blabs about nothing and doesn't use his ears.

Should of read reviews prior to picking this fool
First visit, He spent an hour preaching to me about my smoking as he smelled of smoke himself! He had prescribed Meds. before or if any blood work, did not discuss what he was putting me on just said "you need to take it"! He is RUDE in responding to My Chart in ALL CAPS about how he told me to go to ED. I called in for something to help me sleep at night because of my cancer pain! again told me to go to ED to get evaluated!!!!! I do not need a Primary Doc. that doesn't want to be that! He is here to help me through this, NOT freak out and pawn it on other doctors. His office workers NEVER FOLLOW THROUGH or call you back until I call back upset. Will be finding a Primary that plays the right role. If I could of chose zero stars, I would of.

I have know Dr. Sergio Mezcua for a long time (45 plus years). He is a very compassionate and caring person, and cares for his patient and family's. From the moment I met him, if was like we became best friends. He has always wanted to become a Doctor and help other. I am so happy his dream has come true. Any patient is lucky to have such a dedicated, caring, person as a Doctor. I have the been treated by him many times. Take care and know that you are in good hands. H.M.L., Naples.

This "doctor" should not have a medical license. The Christ network has had very many complaints concerning his complete incompetance, other doctors within the Christ network consider him to be a potential danger to his patients in the roll of a General Pratictioner. Don't bother reporting him to Christ network, report him directly here: med . ohio . gov/

On my first visit as a new patient, Dr Mezcua spent an inordinate amount of time with me to go over my current history. He spent enough time on my bad habits to get me to quit smoking. I stopped that day after 40 years, and haven't had a single puff in almost a year. From that standpoint he was very gracious and supportive. I only gave three stars because I've only been one time, and I have another appointment in August. I hope I can give an even better report next time.

Can you leave no stars? This man should not have a license. He is nasty and has no clue how to talk to people with mental issues. I was told to get over my mental funk? I went in to get seen for my wrist hurting and he didn't even look at it. Told me I was gonna die from smoking though. Gave me Chantix.... how is that helping my wrist? Made me cry then told me to stop crying just stop several times. But he treats my Aunt very well from what she says. Maybe because I look like white trash?

I wouldn't recommend this doctor...he charges his patients for services without prior knowledge that there's a fee attached. and once you are charged for the service you HAVE to pay the bill or they will send you to collections! They will NOT remove the charge from your bill!!!! This doctor just wants your money ! And he likes to talk a whole lot more than he likes to listen!

I was very pleased with Dr. Mezcua on my initial visit. He took time with me, explained things well and was very relatable. He also was very understanding and supportive. As a person that has avoided doctors over the years, I feel very comfortable now having such a good doctor.

Dr. Mezcua was the greatest doctor I have ever met he truly took the time out to talk with me and get to know me. He made me feel like he cares. I was extremely nervous and hated Dr appointments. The previous doctors I have been to either one, hurry you right out are rude and don't care. I left Dr. Mezcua office with the right medicine a referral and the professionalism and caring of a doctor. Extremely happy would highly recommend Dr. Mezcua. The staff was also kind and helpful.
