Neuromuscular Wizard
I was in desperate need of a diagnosis. Dr. Youssof was the 6th neurologist that I had consulted. Neurologist number 5, after having examined me and taken my medical history, remained stumped. Happily for me, number 5 told me to find Dr. Semiramis Youssof, wherever in the world she may be. To my good fortune, Dr. Youssof was still in Albuquerque, not so far from my residence. Arriving at the diagnosis of Parsonage Turner Syndrome took Dr. Youssof all of about 2 minutes of penetrating questions. I presume that the abruptness of the onset was a key factor. I pray for this professional, this wizard, this lady. She reminds me of what I learned years ago about the genius, Rosalind Frank. Dr. Frank's wizardry helped Watson and Crick make the breakthrough that they did, breakthrough in the discovery of DNA. May God bless Dr. Semiramis Youssof.

Dr. Yousof has been my neurologist for years. I have occular symptoms of Myasthenia Gravis possibly related to a West Nile infection in 2008. Dr. Yousoff has worked extremely patiently with me as I valliciate through various medications & dosages. She is extremely compassionate and fully understands why some drugs that treat my symptoms well scare me and thus she's been instrumental in finding other drugs that work well and may have fewer long term consequences. She explains well and listens
