Dr. Seif Saeed, MD

I am an RN and was horrified by the treatment I received from Dr. Saeed and the disorganization of Michigan Health Care in general. Dr. Saeed misdiagnosed my husband, which almost ended up in him having emergency inguinal hernia surgery. Dr. Saeed told me not to take a medication, and said it wasn't needed. Then the very next week he forgot and told me to take the medication. On two different occasions he sent in incorrect prescriptions, one of which could have overdosed me had I not caught it right before taking it. He told me on the phone that he was scheduling an appointment with a surgeon and never did to this day. If you value your life and the life of your loved ones, do not, I REPEAT, DO NOT put your healthcare in the hands of Dr. Saeed or this healthcare organization. The office staff, gives you the runaround because they have been trained to do so. Everything is very disorganized and nobody seems to know what is going on. DON'T PUT YOUR HEALTH AT RISK!

Staff kept dropping the ball. I was first sent to another Dr in his "offices" then a week later to see Dr Saeed for the same new patient process. (no explanation for the redundancy). Blood work ordered twice, first doctor did not order important stats initially (even after my suggestion). I am a diabetic without a pancreas and need A1C monitored. I also needed insulin prescription filled shortly after visits. After 3 days of calling voicemail system to get it sent to pharmacy, I had to contact my previous doctor to have it filled. (very irritated at this point) I decided to give Dr Saeeds office another chance to show me they can handle my basic needs, I had a follow up appt to discuss bloodwork 2 weeks later. I had showed up for my appt on time and was told that the Doctor rescheduled his appointments that day to another office on the other side of town. I did not receive any notice of this! I will not be hiring this doctors office to handle my health matters in the future

I would recommend Dr Saeed/Cherell Shells NP. Very caring about my health.
